Sorry guys whatever this is I have is seriously messing me up. My mom and sister both went and got covid tests they came back negative but are still being treated as if they have covid just to be safe. I don't have anywhere near the symptoms they do but I am still having a hard time.

Personality; Karsten's biggest flaws are not knowing when to shut up (seriously the boy can talk for ever), and taking things seriously. Although, because he doesn't take things seriously he can pretty much always find a bright side to any bad situation and is adept at cheering people up with terrible jokes.

Appearance; a tall, lanky boy with dark olive skin and curly black hair. Karsten has warm brown eyes and an infectious lopsided smile. He looks to be of Grecian and/or Middle Eastern descent.

History; Karsten's mother died due to complications during his birth, but other than that he had a pretty average childhood. Despite being quite smart, he struggled in school due to being dyslexic. As he got older Karsten fell in with the trouble makers and often got in trouble for his pranks and laziness. He and his friends got blind drunk on some under-the-counter alcohol and Karsten stole a guard's stun baton which he tried to use as a hair straightener, thus landing himself in the Sky Box. His case review was set for the day after the dropship launched.

Personality; Ripley is a bit confusing, in that she is usually a voice of reason but is also has a wavering moral compass. Perhaps her best and worst trait is her strong sense of self-preservation, she will do anything she deems necessary to survive; including change sides if she thinks she stands a better chance. This instinct sometimes clashes with her motherliness, which was borne from looking after her much younger orphan neighbour. She also harbours a deep-seated feeling of not being good enough.

Appearance; a short, dark skinned woman of African-American descent. She has warm brown eyes that contrast her uncaring facade. Her hair is long and worked into thin dreads that she usually keeps in a ponytail

History; Both Ripley's parents were floated for trying to have another child when she was 11 years old. Her neighbours had been looking after her until 4 years ago when they passed away, leaving their own son an orphan. Ripley frequently stole and traded items to ensure her and her much younger neighbour would survive. The day before the dropship launched, however, Ripley learnt that she'd ratted out by the person to whom she traded the stolen items for food. Knowing she'd be floated as she was 19 years old, Ripley ran and hid inbetween the floors of a dropship. It wasn't until she heard people above and below her that she realised her mistake. Before she knew it, Ripley was on earth.
