—vanessa watched the kyogre swim in front of her, doing circles in the water and amusing lavender. she then glanced to zeraora, who offered her a great ball. eyes widening, she grabbed the object from the pokemon. she now held two pokeballs, one belonging to the former kyogre, and the great ball she was just handed. she looked between the both of them, a smile settling on her face.

"I don't know about the two of you, but i don't want this adventure to end... and it seems like you don't either.." she hummed. ignis emerged from his ball, and so did raiden, the two expectantly watching with curious gazes. lavender let out a cry of excitement, awaking kepler who also joined them by coming out of his pokeball.

zeraora walked over, crouching to reach the party pokemon's height. and with that, vanessa set the great ball against zeraora's head. she then turned to kyogre, "so, let's make it official?" she offered, holding the kyogre's previous pokeball toward it, for it to retract.

long time no see DKFJKDAJ very sorry for how long this took!! from what i can gather, Kyogre was level 70 in a previous post, and Zeraora i cant find a level for. apparently it shows up as level 45 initially in the USUM mystery gift, so i guess we'll go with that :0!

Kyogre enthusiastically swam towards you, bumping itself onto the Pokeball.

With Kyogre's conundrum solved, it's safe to go back to exploring. The rain is still there, but it's been reduced to a small drizzle. You could wait at the ocean for a Pokemon to come by if you so desired, or you could go back into the forest and back the way you came. Where will you go?

Epona munched on her pear as she walked to the Professor's lab. She had been too excited that morning to sit still, and it was nice outside anyway, so she decided to grab breakfast to go. The sun was warm but not blistering, there was a gentle breeze, and bird pokemon were singing happily; all this put the new trainer in good spirits as she pushed open the lab doors.

"Good morning professor!" she called out to the spectacled man, who gave her a hearty wave in return. A few other trainers milled about, deciding on their own starters. A feeling of leaves on her feet made Epona stop, confused for a moment. Looking down, she noticed it wasn't a leaf but a small, green pokemon; Chikorita! The trainer knelt down.

"Aww, hello little friend!" she cooed, patting the pokemon on the head. The Chikorita chirped happily in reply before hopping into her lap. So, this was it then. "You want to come adventure with me then?" "Rii!"

After confirming her new starter with the Professor, she got the run down of her new items and the basics of starting out. With all the new info, Epona and her new friend headed back outside, ready for a new adventure.

Notes to mod - I took a guess at what stats would be affected by a weary nature, if that's alright ;v;

"A Sobble!" Teddie beams, excited to finally have a pokémon of his own. He's quick to embrace the water-type and happily stammer out many 'thank you's to the professor. "Oh! I should give you a nickname, huh?" he chuckles. He sets the little pokemon down and looks deep in thought for a few moments.

"Drippy," he finally concludes, "I'll name you Drippy". Not the most creative name but he believes it to be fitting. Either way, he doesn't spend much time overthinking something as small as his new friend's name.

"I'll keep you updated on our adventure, promise!" is the last thing Teddie calls out before he disappears out the door with his newly obtained Sobble in tow. Seems he very excited to get going on his adventure, no matter where it takes him.

The sea otter freezes when he hears the word tackle from the professor's mouth. He recalls being play-tackled during spars with his friends, but this is the real thing! He squeezes his eyes shut as Caterpie collides with him and... it's actually less painful than Oshawott thought it would be. Then again, bug-types in general are pretty squishy.

"You use Tackle, too!" his trainer calls. Oshawott's feet are moving before his mind fully comprehends the command -- that's what it feels like, at least. Who knew battling could be so exhilarating? With a (quiet) war cry, Oshawott charges at his opponent.nalu=wave|shigyre=swordsmen/warrior|shinalu

the professor's pokemon faints, and he retracts it into it's ball.
"you put up a good battle! i can restore your pokemon's health, come this way!"
he insists, leading you back inside to a machine.

he instructs you to place your pokeball with your pokemon inside of it, in
the machine, before running it up to a start.

"alright, while they take a quick rest, i'll grab that prize i promised you!" he
smiled.

walking into a back room, he returns with a rolled up piece of paper, and a small box.
he hands you the paper, "this is a map. it'll take you through route one, and onto a
seceret route. legend has it, there's a special pond in which a very special pokemon
hides out. find the pond, find the pokemon. inside of this box is a net ball, which will hopefully
be able to capture this rare pokemon. you must use it wisely, it has one use, so time it right!"
he tells you.

once handing you the items, he turns back to the machine to fetch your pokeball, handing your
balled companion back to you.

"have fun!" he smiles, "and keep me updated on any discoveries!".

She felt like she just ran like what felt like 77 miles.
“I’m here… id like to exchange these for a Shiny randomizer, please.”
Fang sat on my shoulder, and meowed.

I pick up the pokeball and send out the Totodile. The little gater looked me and I looked at him. The Totodile came running towards me but tripped and landed in front of me so I went down to the gater’s height and picked him up then i stood back up. The Totodile began to playfully chomp my jacket and I noticed. “Hmmm how about I name you Chompy little guy?” I said as I looked at him. “Tot Totodile!” He seemed to like the name. I said thank you to the professor and headed out the door. “Ready to begin our unforgettable journey Chompy?” I said while smiling and looking at the Totodile. Chompy smiled very happily “Totodile Tot!” “Let’s go!”. I let Chompy stay on my Shoulder for now, I bet he has been in the Pokeball for awhile. We headed out onto the first route.
