Burnpaw

First it was Hawkgorse’s voice to alert his ears that the tom needed to get on with his duties as an apprentice, not just the words he had to listen to from his mentor. In the midst of grooming his fur, the tom had to stop merely to give into a big sigh. His mentor had such impeccable timing, a little more time to himself couldn’t have hurt. Again, a sneeze came out of the tom, causing his face to wrinkle at disgust that his cold wasn’t completely gone. That’s when he heard Autumnpaw telling on him. Some den mate you are !

“I’m right here, don’t worry you won’t have to wait any longer, Hawkgorse.” Burnpaw huffed, rising to his paws and padded towards his mentor to meet the warrior. On the way, he shot a glance at Autumnpaw and shot his away almost immediately in response to her sight. One day, hopefully soon, he couldn’t wait to until their mentors thought it would be good to train with her together. At least then he could have a go with her and to her the same. “Good luck with both of your training today,” he murmured to both Sealpaw and Autumnpaw, despite how grumpy he can be, he wanted to still show respect to Autumnpaw, as well as Sealpaw.

Boastar

There was a proud feeling Boastar felt towards Willowpaw when she wanted to join in on Sandpaw’s training for her own benefit. Well, that was the gist of it, she’d join Sandpaw to train if she wanted to come. He would speak to her mentor to see if it was alright of course before doing so if they were around. I’m sure her mentor wouldn’t mind if I took her with Sandpaw and I for some training anyway... “Yeah of course you can join us.” Boastar meowed to Willowpaw, giving her a nod of approval. “Let’s hope all the apprentices are as willing to put themselves to doing something as you are.” His gaze on the apprentice was short for it switched back to Sandpaw who really had his attention. It’s the reason he came over to begin with. “Sandpaw, I think we can battle train today since we have a partner. It’ll be good for the both of you to freshen up.” He said to the tom, but it was more of an open conversation to the two apprentices.

Alterstrike

Alterstrike, unlike Flywing, was more composed about the task given to the three warriors. It was simple enough and the tom was more than confident the trio would be efficient enough for the job. The moment Snowivy appeared, he could only remain silent and sway his tail with caution, letting the others do all the talking. He didn’t care if she joined, but sometimes Alterstrike wasn’t the best at talking. He didn’t want to chance saying something rude along the lines of telling the she-cat she could join if she wanted.

Now that four warriors were on the job they could get going and just decide as they walked and talked to each other. “We should hurry. The early bird catches the worm.” He spoke up to his patrol members, giving a glance to each one. “And, I rather be the bird.” It may have sounded a tad off when he said it, but he didn’t dwell on it. The tom was ready to sink his claws into flesh.
