Does anyone know what these lovely pets are based off of? The third counterpart should be a woolly rhino!

Most likely a Direworlf & Equus

equus is a large genus consisting of many species, someone on casual chat thread mentioned it possibly being a hippidion though

I think I'm done trading for now. I still have 205C$ and have now chosen what pets and items to hoard. The shrooms are a sure thing... MUST hoard them! It also goes without saying that the plushies have to be hoarded in small amounts as well. I think 5 of each is a good start.

I saw that the rats from day 1 were based on stone and someone mentioned petoskey stone for some but does anyone know type of stone what these other 2 are



Also does anyone know what types of mushrooms are on the mushroom pets?
I find all these details interesting if they’re based on real mushrooms

I wonder if, once the event ends, will there be a way to see these creative characters/mascots of each area of the caves/outside again? I'd love to draw fanart sometime as the event encouraged us to, but I've been busy trading and, otherwise, just busy with irl stuff. It would be sad if all these set pieces were gone forever and we can't look at them anymore.

I do know that there is a “past summer event archive” thread where you can see all the images of past event mascots! Plus, the discussion and fan art threads will stick around so you can visit them in the future, even when they’re locked.
