so i was looking to sign up for an adopt here but theyre asking for an id?? idk why or how to get it, please assist! <3

been on this site for like 6 years and still find new and confusing things :3

your user ID is the number at the end of your profile url! if you go to your own profile and look at the address bar at the top of the screen, you'll see this: Forum/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=785500 - those numbers at the end are your ID - yours is 785500

each user has a unique ID number, and your ID stays the same even if you decide to change your username, so it's a better way to keep track of people (for closed species, they usually like to keep track of who owns each adopt.)
