Micah Raziel
Be strong now because things will get better.
It might be stormy now, but it can't rain forever.
Micah sighed when she agreed to it being obvious. He wished he could have made it less obvious. He wished he could've loved Jannah, and he was sure he someday would grow to care about her. He didn't lie when he said she was a kind girl, but he had always been angry to have the choice of who he married taken away from him. He had blamed her for this for a long time, and when he finally realized she might be as upset with the arrangement as he did, he stubbornly stayed neutral about her. Besides, it didn't help that he'd only met her once or twice. He nodded when she said didn't think it was any of her business. It wasn't, and he'd prefer not to talk about it, but a small smile appeared on his face when she burst out laughing. "Yes, I know you weren't saying I should kill her. I was only surprised about what happened to the prince you were arranged with. You have some wild little sisters... Not that I can talk much. I'm pretty sure one of my sisters would like to kill or find some way to get rid of Princess Jannah." Speaking of his wild sister... He opened up their bond to see what had become of Amaris. He had his answer moments later. The guard had found her and was bringing her to Micah.
Micah hadn't thought much about her touching his hand. He had his powers. He felt safe, but he should probably be more cautious, especially when the demon would be in the castle near his little sisters. He would not let her hurt them. "There's a difference between trusting and feeling concern for someone, but I've been told by four other people, constantly, that I'm weird, so that's fair," he said with another small smile.
"It's not like I wanted to get lost. I really thought I knew where I was going. And, yes, I know Micah is going to get upset at me for not being patient, but he shouldn't have ignored us. He should have kept us updated with what was going on. Eve is so scared. If anything, I should be upset at him. Don't you agree?" Amaris walked in front of the cell, talking an exasperated guard's ear off.
"Oh, and here comes one of those people," Micah said, moving forward to open the cell door. Amaris face lit up when she saw her brother.
"Micah! You're okay!" She dashed forwards and nearly knocked him down with an enthusiastic hug. Micah quickly glanced back at the demon before returning Amaris' hug. His sister pulled away. "Don't get mad at me. I thought you'd need back up in case the de-" Amaris froze when she saw the demon princess.
Echo Rigel
Don't worry about the darkness in my soul.
It ignites me like an embered coal.
"They could have found some way to get in without being sensed. They could have also hired a demon to kidnap the princess, and given them something to use that would contain their power to weaken her." Echo stared at the map a little longer, trying to come up with ways the other realms would have captured the princess. He decided to entertain the idea of the angels for now. "If you're outnumbered, you're not going to want to charge into this blindly. Do you have any information about the angel kingdoms?"
