Eva groaned as she ran her fingers through her hair, they hadn't heard back from Poe since he'd gone on his last mission. She'd promise him if he hadn't returned by now she'd go find bb8 and bring him home. She fiddled with her necklace, it was something Kylo had made out of wood when they were younger. She'd made him a matching necklace although it was a little more rough around the edges. She carefully tucked the necklace below her shirt so it was hidden; afterwards, tucking her helmet under her arm. The small woman made her way to the X-Wing they'd been fixing, carefully climbing into the older starship. The ship hummed as she headed off towards Poe's last mission, it didn't take long before she slowly approached the planet. She slowly let the ship down, landing next to where she'd agreed to meet him if anything went wrong. Her heart dropped as her brown boots touched the sand, the scene that laid in front of her was horrifying, "BB.8?" She called out as she walked through the sand, keeping an eye out for Poe.

Eva eventually made it to the market, keeping a careful eye for the small mischievous droid. She heard yelling and looked up as storm troopers began to flood the market, "Not. Good." She tucked herself behind a pile of shipping crates, listening to the thunderous march of the storm trooper's boots. Gritting her teeth she grabbed the hilt of her lightsaber, the cool, silver metal with bronze and leather accents fitting perfectly in her small hand. Quietly taking a deep breath, she closed her hazel eyes, focusing on using the force to feel everything around her. The more she focused the less she listened to the buzzing of everything going on around her, her eyes flashing open as a storm trooper came around the corner. She let go of her lightsaber and began fighting with him in hand to hand, suddenly stumbling as her eyes landed on Kylo Ren in walking through the stalls towards them.

==as his ship hovered over the market stalls above, he knew something was a miss. he has felt this pull of the force, that lead him to this strange planet. he had already been in combat with another and taken them prisoner, but there was something else telling him to stay. watching his storm troopers scan the stalls below, his eyes darted to a young woman fighting to his left. jumping from the hovering ship, he landed somewhat gracefully on the ground and began to head towards them. holding his cross saber with his left, he waited for the right moment to use it.
==as soon as the girl stumbled, he took his chance and lunged forward and released the saber from it's hilt. holding it close to her neck, he watched her closely and spoke, "where is the resistance?" he could feel that she was some sort of force sensitive person, but he couldn't recognize her either. it had been years in fact since he had been around another girl and when she crossed his mind, it only made his heart flutter lightly. keeping his guard up, he looked down towards the saber on her hip. "get me some cuffs, we are taking her with us. and anything you find bring back to the ship! there has to be something more valuable here the resistance left." he called out as he looked away for a moment, letting his guard down slightly.

Eva took in a sharp breath as he crossed over and in an instant had her in his grasp. She gritted her teeth and frowned, “I’ll never tell you what I know.” She snapped back, as his grasp on her relaxed she relaxed with him. In what felt like an instant she’d broke from his gasp, shoving his hand with the saber out of the way and breaking free from him. She turned to face him, holding out her hand, “I don’t want to fight you.” She said quickly, was leaving herself vulnerable, stupid? Yes, did she care, no. Not in this moment. She knew the true Ben and refused to believe this is what he’d chosen to become, “I just want to talk. But I’m here to make a deal. Let the resistance pilot go. Take me instead.” She offered. Her eyes locking onto where she knew his would be under the helmet, “It’s a fair trade. A resistance pilot for a resistance pilot.” She said calmly, never once did she reach for the saber at her side. She wanted him to know he could trust her, although she knew it was a stretch.

Eva knew deep down if it came to it there would be no choice but to fight. She also knew she couldn’t take on Kylo without using the force. They were as close as it got to matched in power but he easily towered over her and was much stronger. She may be quicker but in a battle against him she knew what mattered most. Who could think faster. She heard a click behind her and recognized it immediately, the sound of a blaster getting ready to fire. Without thinking her hand shot up and she used a force push to send the stormtrooper flying backwards, and in that instant she knew she’d made a dumb mistake.

==that moment she used the force, he lunged forward and used the force to send her flying backwards, though he knew she could steady herself easily. "force sensitive aren't we? i knew i felt something irregular about you. you talked about a resistance pilot? if you are serious, though the saber you have there," he indicated to her hip and began to speak again, "toss it to your left and i might consider your proposition." he told her with a serious tone to his voice. yeah he may have not noticed her from the years past, but who could have for the guilt and regret that he now carries for the past mistakes he's made.

==standing alert and holding his cross saber, he pushed the return button and it returned to the hilt. probably stupid, but let's see if she takes the bait. he thought to himself as he glared at her through his helmet. something about her started to stick out, but what could it have been apart from the force that had lead him here. hearing the stormtrooper's marching forward behind him, he threw his hand to the air and stopped them. "this is my fight, just watch." he told them as he started to move towards eva this time. "so what will it be?" he questioned her while still walking towards her, closing the distance a little quicker than one would.

( sorry for lack of attention lately - trying to get back into things with unexpected events happening and trying to catch up my other role-play's as well - also was trying to get one started too. i do apologize! T-T )

Eva stumbled as she tried to balance herself. It has been a while since she’d used the force so she felt rusty. Once she was stable on her feet again she stared at him, focusing as he spoke, so he doesn’t recognize me. She thought to herself, she looked down at her hip and slowly reached down to grab the light saber before tossing it as he instructed. She knew that this could possibly be a trap but she wanted to trust him, as stupid as that could be. She watched as it skittered along the sand until it came to a stop and turned her art back to him, “I’ve held up my end. I trust you to hold up yours.” She said calmly, keeping her hands out where he could see them.

Hearing the storm troopers surround them she glanced around, getting nervous again. She turned her attention back to Kylo as he spoke, still as powerful and commanding as ever. She made a mental note as the storm troopers stop. Eva’s eyes locked on his as he quickly approached her, “Me for the other resistance pilot. You and me will sit down and talk, no troopers, no one else in the room. We have a lot to talk about.” She said moving her hand up to her shirt, producing the necklace from its hiding place. Eva knew it was something only he would recognize, “I might have information that could be important to you, but I refuse to participate in these mind games.” She said sternly.
