[Hubble]

My favorite little tin can in the sky has been having more trouble this month. While I have no doubt that it will be back to its normal operations soon, I find myself wondering how much longer the Hubble Space Telescope will light up the universe for us. The HST is 31 now- older than me, and probably most of you. The Hubble has always been troubled, but it's also given humanity our greatest look at the cosmos. It did better than anyone asked of it, and I hope it continues to do so for as long as it can.

• stunning work! i especially enjoy the eyes in this; the one at the top is my favorite. while i'm sorry to hear that the hubble space telescope isn't doing so great, i am glad it has done its work for this long. regardless of what happens next, it has served humanity well <3
