Alex just sat there looking at the dog. She couldn't move. Not even Dixie acted like this. She looked the dog in the eye. "I'm sorry...." she said she turned her gaze to her stallion that was looking right at her.

Jerome sighed and turned around. Without another word, he bounded outside and into the woods.

Steph worked quickly and quietly as the little drops of salty excursion escaped from the corner of her eyes. She felt a bit light headed, knowing she needed to eat more due to having a developing fetus inside her. She gently stroked Hoero's back when she finished up. "it's alright girl.."

Hoero stood up, stumbling and licked Steph's stomach before limping back into the barn aisle. She then trotted back to the cabin and laid down under the porch, too weak to crawl back up the steps.

Alex pulled her knees to her chest, as she scooted up against Lark's stall door. She didn't mean to hurt Hoero. She was trying to stop Jerome from doing the same. She just sat there eyes glued to the set of stalls across the aisle. Her mind swarming.

Jerome stood in the middle of the forest, faintly seeing the barn lights. he gave a brief farewell howl, and continued to run.

Steph took a deep breath, got her thoughts together and walks out of the barn without another word. She didn't know what to be feelif right now as she walked up the steps, carrying Hoero once again.

Hoero jumped out of her arms, stumbling when she landed on her feet. "You don't need to be carrying a 50 pound dog in your condition." Hoero said to her, gently pulling her into the house and onto her bed. She carefully brought the blanket back in, the one she got stuck in.

Alex sighed, and began to cry. She felt so alone. She stayed there.

Ghost snorted faintly seeing a dog (Jerome) run by. He snorted again and stomped his hoof, breaking another stick. The gypsy stallion stayed quiet though, only his sillhouette was showing by the moon.

"Hoero, I'm fine, really. I just don't know what Seth's going to think, or anyone else." sh sighed, feeling tears come on again.
