top spot, their aggression and bickering only causes
a divide among the team. after muse a suffers a
terrible injury, their coach forces muse b to care for
muse a in hopes of bringing the team back together.
their feelings start to change as the two spend more
time with each other, and each learn that the other
is not as bad as they once thought. as the team’s
last sporting event draws near, will muse a & muse b

viii. beck is thin and has quite a lean build.
he could definitely pass as the athletic type,
though his disinterest in sports and lack of
athleticism in itself would suggest otherwise.
beck isn’t too tall. he barely reaches six feet
with a height of five feet eleven inches. still,
the boy tends to tower over most friends and
family. beckett’s skin complexion is naturally
fair, but he does tan very easy, which can re-
sult in some pretty nasty sunburns. his hair is
ash brown with some hints of darker shades.
beck doesn’t care much for styling it, and he
is never in any rush to get it trimmed. for the
most part, his hair is quite wavy, which adds
to its untamed look. beckett has large brown
eyes and a warm gaze to go along with them.
his wide smile and rosy cheeks only contribute
to his affable look, and many find beck to be
very approachable upon first sight.

ix. dorky and somewhat gullible, beck is pretty
easy to get along with. the boy hates conflict
and strives to be on everyone’s good side. he
lives for the approval of others, which causes
him to be quite the people pleaser. beck sets
high standards for himself. he is a strict rule-
follower and doesn’t dare step out of line. he
can be a perfectionist and control freak when
it comes to his school work but finds it hard to
tell others exactly what he wants. though beck
has a strong desire to please others, he main-
tains his independence and always sticks to his
morals. the boy is a bit socially awkward, and
he’s definitely more of the introverted type. a
day at home, working on mini projects, is a day
beck can get by. beck is a pretty amiable guy,
and he loves performing small acts of kindness
whenever he gets the chance. though he may
seem like every mother’s dream, many of beck’s
friends criticize his mindset and tell him that he
needs to “live a little more.” beck refuses to do
anything reckless or rebellious though, out of
the fear that he might ruin his future. he has a
very idealized vision for his life, and no part of
him intends on messing that up.
