Flitz idly swirled a claw in the two-inch deep sea of rings. Wait, what? A torrent of rings rushed out of the doorway, taking Yukila with it. "Yukila, stop!"

Flitz quickly scooped up the gold-covered Yukila, running to her. "There's something in the hallway!"

Flitz snarls at the monster, overwhelmed by a terrifyingly huge urge to protect her hatchling. "RRAGGRGRH!" Flitz conjured her jewelsword, flinging cutting diamonds off as fast as magic replaced them. Massing her all spell strength from parts of her bloodline, Flitz roared light.

Flitz gasped. "That spell!" She picked up Yukila and ran. Yukila had to survive.

Flitz sat by Thorry, Yukila circling the now normal queen.

'Iluminatious.' I said. A floating ball of light was now in front of the gate, illuminating the dark tunnels. Now that I could see better, I could make out the intricate markings and symbols on the sturdy gate. They where in Old Language, the ancient tongue that only the most elderly and learned dragons could decipher..... and me. I studied the writing and locks and another spell rolled off my tongue. Undoune oklces, loway yim ntrenace.' The gate opened slowly, creaking and grinding as a gate that hasn't been open in years will.

Embers paused panting, and stared behind her as Thorrissia attacked the evil. She closed her eyes as the world seemed to explode around her. She sprang to her feet when it was over, and saw her queen's body motionless on the ground. She coughed up a spit of flame, setting a bush on fire. Ignoring it, she ran to Thorrisssia's side.
