I absolutely love The Golden Girls and there's no way I'm the only one! I'd like to create
a space where fans can talk about the show, the characters, their lessons, lives,
fashion, etc.

I'd also like this to be a total safe space where everyone is welcome! We're all family here, just
as Dorothy, Sophia, Rose, and Blanche are. Share your struggles in life and we can help
each other get through it over a plate of cheesecake!

- Your "rent" will be paid in kindness, and Blanche will not stand for squatters, so be kind or you'll be sent to Shady Pines!

This is a special place where volunteers from our Golden Girls family can sign up to be a confidant.
The kitchen table has always been a place for the girls to talk about their toughest situations and really help each other through
some hard times.This kitchen is a place for those who are struggling or have something they'd rather keep secret to find someone they can talk to and confide in.

A number of topics can be triggering for some people, so we'd rather keep them off this thread. That's what our confidants are here for! Please, don't hesitate to contact one of our confidants (listed below), via PM and vent or talk through some troubles with. These volunteers understand that life can be difficult, and while they aren't professional help, they are a shoulder to lean on.

Rules
- Please be kind to our confidants if you choose to message one of them. They may not understand what you're going through, but want to be there for you regardless!
- The confidants have their own set of rules, sent to them via PM once they've been accepted into the Kitchen. Trust that they are expected to treat you and your situation with respect, as you should treat them.
- You must continue to adhere to Chicken Smoothie rules and guidelines!

Favorite Golden Girl: Blanche!!
Favorite Episode: "A Little Romance". This episode aired in season 1 and featured Rose dating Dr. Jonathan Newman. The comedy in this episode was hilarious, and the situation taken lightly despite the premise! It cracked me up as a kid and to this day it is my absolute favorite episode!
Other: I love love LOVE Blanche's style! I own several kimonos myself though I'm always on the look out for more. I've also considered starting a site where I focus on the fashion of each girl and include links and examples to stores and sites where you can buy similar fashion!
