"What if some innocent brute liked you and I've kept you so long......." Aries murmured, knowing she was partly right.

"Well, then I'm sure that brute would just have to find another." Alei replied with a shrug. "Why? Do you have anyone in mind?" she questioned.

"No." he had a ridiculous grin on his face. "Wanna go and dig a den or something?"

Raine lifted his head off of the rock he'd slept on, and looked towards the sky, the sun pointed at midday. He sighed and stood up, his bones creaking in protest after last night's stupidity in a fight. He had let himself go. A huge letdown of his careful guard. His anger had gotten the best of him. He was weak.

Ari wondered the forest, curious of everything.She saw a blood trail and followed it, unsure of what may lay ahead. She saw a wolf looking weak on a rock, she ran over and saw it was Raine. "Raine!" she screamed "what happened?" she asked inspecting his wounds.

"Get away from me you two-timing freak," Raine growled at Ari, his fur rising. His eyes glowed with a deep hatred of her, something that wasn't just skin deep. He turned away from her and walked in the other direction, his walking stiff.

Akina lifted her bleeding head to see Raine come back, with the traces of a she-wolf on him. "What happened?"

"A b*****," Raine said, his voice blank sounding. He was uncaring at current, lost in his own thoughts.

"No." he had a ridiculous grin on his face. "Wanna go and dig a den or something?"

Aleilial smiled. "Sounds like a good idea." she agreed, diving under the water and beginning to paddle toward the banks.

Aries blushed under his fur as she swam towards the bank, but waited patiently.

Akina's ears flickered back. "You mean Ari?"
