โ Flywing nodded towards Winterwing as she approached.
โ "Morning!" He mewed back, taking another bite. He
โ felt a little bad when Alterstrike offered her his prey,
โ but soon after Pineflower approached. Maybe she wasn't
โ so late to rise after all. He thought, listening to the
โ deputy's words. "I'd love to go on a hunting patrol!" He
โ mewed, leaping to his paws, his tail swishing high in
โ the air. He looked towards Winterwing when the she-cat
โ spoke again, nodding in agreement. "If Alterstrike is ready,"
โ he trailed off as Snowivy approached. He took a few extra
โ heartbeats to look at her before continuing, "if Alterstrike
โ and Snowivy are ready, I sure am!" He purred. "Would
โ you like to finish this Finch, Snowivy? I think it'd be best if
โ you ate before we left." He purred, stepping back from the
โ half eaten bird. He looked back towards Pineflower, "Did
โ you have anywhere in mind you wanted us to hunt?" He
โ asked excitedly, though his mind had already been racing
โ with ideas. It was new-leaf, anywhere they decided to
โ hunt would be rich with prey, but he would prefer a spot
โ thicker with undergrowth, perhaps near the river. There
โ would be a diverse amount of prey there, too. He
โ shook his head for a second, he was letting his excitement
โ overwhelm him as he was standing right in front of the
โ deputy. I must look like a brand new apprentice. He
โ looked away from Pineflower for a second, letting his tail
โ drop, and puffing out his chest before looking back at her
โ and awaiting her reply. Regardless of where she sent them,
โ Flywing was mostly just excited to get to stretch his legs.

Autumnpaw padded around towards Sealpaw's tail where
she had noticed a rather large clump of moss sticking to the
pretty, white apprentice's tail. She gently clawed at the
clump tangled in her den mates tail, being careful to not pull
at any fur that had gotten itself tangled in the heap. At least
Sealpaw isn't an elder. She thought to herself as she
finished picking the soft moss out of Sealpaw's tail. She
tossed it over towards the other side of the den, catching
another quick glimpse of Burnpaw. She looked at him for a
minute, before hearing rustling coming from the entrance.
Hawkgorse. She noted, nodding towards the warrior.
"He's been asleep all morning!" She
dobbed, twitching her tail for a moment. No matter, it wasn't
her responsibility to wake up her lazy den mate. Everyone
else was up, he should have just woken sooner, like everyone
else. She turned back to Sealpaw, after all, she was who
Autumnpaw wanted to be focusing on. Hawkgorse would take
care of Burnpaw from here. She crouched down to lick the
patch of fur on Sealpaw's tail that she had picked the moss
from, arranging the fur to lay flat. She sat up again to look
at her den mate. While she didn't envy her long fur, she did
think Sealpaw was a pretty cat, in no small part because of
her long, white fur.
