mayzie’s homeworld. a tropical paradise that has around a hundred ‘smart’ species and over 1000 other species. there is no dominant species— and that causes a lot of small wars between species.

haven’s not-so-safe haven. an almost deserted world with a dominant cat species that doesn’t seem to like arcanthera at all. they hunted haven until other arcanthera brought her back to arcana. she’ll eventually return to this world and find that the other cat species has gone extinct. soon enough, she would create a safe haven on this world, to help other arcanthera and protect them from the faction’s wars.

in the beginning..
alpine was a very kind and innocent cub. they had she/her pronouns instead of they/them, and lived with their mother and father in a mixed-faction community.

what do they have to face?
alpine will have to face the fact that not everyone cares about everyone, and that they just can’t make some cats like them. they’ll run away from their guild, not wanting to face the fact that freedom isn’t all its cranked up to be. they’d have to come back to their guild for one reason or another, and face their childhood bullies.

what will change about this character?
alpine will go from a people-pleaser to someone who is very wary about others. they’ll place their trust in the wrong cats one to many times, and end up being betrayed a lot.

who will this character become?
alpine will be a very knowledgeable patheryc by the end of their years. they’ve learned to trust again, and would have some kits of their own as well. they’d be the guild elder, and be very respected by their guild— unlike when they were young.

relationship concept prompt for taran & herbie




story concepts for taran & herbie/h1

taran is a medic living in the time of the faction regiment— they live a life, not happy, not sad, and enjoy reading the poems of a poet under the pen name of vine from the second era. vine, as we will call her, disappeared into the spiraros during the spirit rush. taran’s life is missing something— what, they have no clue.
herbie is a poet living in the second era, (see where this is going?) and born was born during the year of the discovery of the spiraros. she lives a full life, happy with her family. writing her heart out in pen. but when she accidentally stumbles into the spiraros, it’s a whole era before she comes out again, with a somehow tamed spirit.
the two meet in the center lake, where taran is gathering herbs & medicinal things from the area. taran is off-putting to her at first —do they have to be nice to a faeric?— but realizes that she comes from a time different than their own, and has bonded with a spirit. better be nice to someone who is definitely more powerful than you, huh? herbie asks for help, and something in taran’s heart made them say yes. for how, herbie stays at the center lake, with taran visiting her once every week.
soon enough, the two are great friends. herbie shares her poems with taran, who realizes that she writes similarly to their favorite poet. a few weeks after this realization, taran asks if herbie has a pen name. she says yes, and tells them it’s vine, taken from her late grandmother’s name, grapevine.
to be clear, their relationship will evolve into something more.
