I'm the type of person who always likes to perceive media in the most positive light and just generally avoid negativity but the one piece that broke me of that, (unfortunately and perhaps a minority opinion) was The Last of Us Part II. The graphics, gameplay, and accessibility options are amazing and I was excited for a sequel with a promisingly diverse cast but j e e z e it's been a year and I've just about resigned myself to forever bitterly disliking how they chose to execute the character arcs.

The Sims 4. It's not any fun without buying a ton of overpriced DLC, and then it's as laggy as all get out. I'd highly recommend avoiding that game.

THIS. i don't hate it, i find it fun, but damn with no dlc it is bare. even now having the dlc when i go to play it i just put it down after like 30 minutes to an hour because i get bored easily.

oooh, I'm so with you.
call me a hag but I still love Sims 2 and as much as newer games are, well, newer and cooler in terms of tech development, I just can't let go ^^;

at this point,, any game that has virtual currency you can buy or a paywall or both LMAO
i know i'm saying this on a game with virtual currency but i've been here for years so i don't want to quit, and i've spent lots of money for virtual money on many games anyways so it's not like i'm just blatantly hating it. it's stupid. while i do understand it's supposed to be the creator's source of income, it's gonna get the player addicted and waste months and possibly years of their lives, spend over 50 dollars or even more just to get rich, get a certain character, etc. i don't trust them anymore, even if the graphics are nice and everyone's crazy about it. i'd rather invest my money into games where there's a coherent storyline, you can play it, finish it, and that'd be the end of it. no more payments.

i dont exactly *hate* hate this one, but terraria is just really not for me. im not a huge fan of platformers, i really only make a few exceptions with them. its not awful, the soundtrack is alright but the game itself is just meh.
