No support.
I do not believe religious based events are a good thing for Chicken Smoothie. Even if Christmas and Easter are traditionally Christian holidays, as others have said, they’re heavily commercialized. CS can use things such as Santa, the easter bunny etc etc, without it being offensive. CS doesn’t use these holidays as a religious thing in any way, shape or form. I have close friends who are/were Muslim and this would be extremely extremely offensive and create intense discomfort and unhappiness.
Celebrating Islamic culture by referencing some of their abstract artwork/tapestries etc is a good idea, but for a religious holiday this would create incredibly divisive and unnecessary conflict. It would also put CS in a situation where they have to celebrate all religious holidays. There’s scores of religions who would be offended if their own holidays aren’t used by CS.
It’s a sweet idea to have a culture be noticed, but it unfortunately isn’t a good idea. Like I said, maybe use Islamic culture for inspiration for a species for a month or something, but otherwise, no support. I know people who would stop playing if this was added, having been Muslim themselves.
Kindness costs you nothing.

For Muslims who live in a slightly modern country, like America, UAE, UK and others, Ramadan is a breeze and is an amazing time to reunite with the whole family, but for others, it seems like a month of pain and hate.

You see, I've seen it first hand, young children starving everyday for a month, people risking their lives everyday to fast, because their illness isn't severe enough to stop them from fasting, but it isn't mild either, and fasting could and would harm them terribly in a matter of seconds. (For example, diabetes, heart issues, blood pressure issues)

I'm part of a support community were people who were once Muslims talk about everything that has happened to them, and most if not all of them suffered trauma because of Ramadan. Young teenagers live with their parents and want to cry every time they remember Ramadan is approaching. Another month of being denied water or food is approaching, and they have to find a way to hide their identity so their families wouldn't kick them out.

Ramadan is indeed a beautiful time, perhaps it is a beautiful time for those who support this, but for others, Ramadan is a month to remember diabetic friends who had to go to the ICU and the ER because their blood sugar levels were lowering 5 minutes before sunset, and they were forced to wait those 5 minutes, but in 5 minutes the sugar in their blood was too low to remain consciousness.

Disclaimer: I am voicing my own opinion on the matter, I do not mean to offend anyone by this, so please understand that these are things I have seen first hand, not fantasies I am imagining. I do not under any circumstances support hate towards Muslims, but I don't support triggering people traumatized by Ramadan by reminding them of what they experienced for years by adding it in a game

Also, I do support Christmas and other holidays because they do not force anyone to fast, or do a certain thing, while Ramadan certainly does.

Thank you for reading

thank you so much for your input and perspective, it really means a lot. i respect your opinion and honestly i'll have to rethink my position as well after i research into this.. the idea of fasting being traumatic didn't occur to me and thats my own fault, but you're completely right in how it can be triggering for some. do you think Eid Fetr would be better than celebrating the entirety of Ramadan? or would it still hold the same kind of negative connotation. again, thank you so much for taking time to give your perspective !!

Friend, I am in no way trying to show you're at fault, it is definitely okay to make mistakes because that's part of being human :)
It's not your fault you didn't look deeper in the matter because honestly the only people who could know about it would be the people who experienced it, so please dont feel badly for that!
Anyways, I kind of dunno about that? Its a huge thing to think of. Raven made a point that it would be difficult on cs because then Pagans, Satanists and others need to be recognized too? Aside from that I see no problem in making an event for that holiday!
Thank you for the sweet and kind reply btw :)

No support from me as well because of reasons stated here. No strictly religious holidays should be included. I am not religious myself but I grew up around Christian people and even I would find Christian symbolism on CS in bad taste if it were added. My friend, whose late father was Muslim, would definitely find adding religious symbolism to a pet adoption site would find it as equally, if not more, in bad taste. It's not a place for it.

As for islamic culture, absolutely. I've always loved the architecture and there's many that are absolutely beautiful and I would love to see some of those ideas be incorporated into a monthly litter

I would just like to thank @Yağmur and the rest of the staff behind the pet release. Even though the correct term is Eid Al-Fitr and Eid refers to a category of holidays the attempt to acknowledge Muslims as a group is much appreciated. Especially in hard times when Muslims around the globe suffer. From Uighur Muslims to Palestinians.

seconding this! i'm also incredibly grateful that Yağmur's pet designs took my concerns on (not) using canine lines into account and drew inspiration from islamic geometry and architecture. i'm not sure if my previous comments on this thread played a part in the design process, but i'm nevertheless overjoyed with the result!

celebrating eid al-fitr in self-isolation twice in a row has been difficult for me and my family, and this small symbol of acknowledgement and support is much appreciated. i hope that it can help educate cs users on islam as a whole, as a little understanding can go a long way. :]

I would just like to point out, although I know you all definitely mean well, that it is absolutely and totally wrong to say that holidays like Easter and Christmas aren't religious. They ARE strictly religious holidays. As a Jew, I do not and will NEVER celebrate them in real life. It doesn't matter that they're commercialized - they're strictly Christian holidays, and there is no way to avoid that reality. When CS clearly prioritizes Christian holidays, it can be really alienating for people like me who don't celebrate them.

I'm thrilled that CS has decided to do something for Eid, and I hope this trend continues. I'd love to see more holidays from marginalized religions celebrated. Not only is it an important educational opportunity, it helps those of us who don't celebrate Christian holidays feel more included.
