My fingers traced it's feathers longingly. So soft, so comforting...

"Why must you leave?" My voice pierced the cold, steam brushing past my lips as I spoke. He..... it, I suppose, looked down at me with soft, golden eyes that pierced my very soul. I knew it couldn't speak. Well, with words at least. It spoke through feelings. I felt a rush of sadness... loss... sorrow. That's what I felt most of the time. Sorrow. I brought it's face close to mine. It generated no body heat, as I did. Our noses bumped. I closed my eyes, running my fingers through it's feathers. "Sorrow.... is that what I shall call you, then?" The feeling of sorrow ended, and I felt it's fingers trace the curves of my face. I opened my eyes, to see it staring right back at me. "Yes, Adabelle." The voice.... so pained, tortured....

"That's what you shall call me."

aqua:Eh-Ehm, aqua, you are using the word horrible too much now. Why can't you just understand every little word of that story is beautiful?
Gwen Trix: I'd never attempt murder, but I can lose my temper. So just understand that story is not-one-bit-cheesy, or I will actually lose it.
(I know I sounded weird/evil but they are compliments )
Also, it's not a love story, but a friendship story. OK?

You know Jim? The grey boy rat? Well, he told me he liked me today and I was just giving him a look like saying "Repeat that. RIGHT NOW.". So he told me again and I started getting angrier. I kicked the bag next to us and broke it. Then I told him "You have no idea how much I want to advance level right now. JUST so I can get out of your training class".

Karla and Tiana then stopped laughing, but they were still wanting to laugh. Then Fiaa went up to them and said "Hi girls. Read my message?"
Karla stopped laughing and smiled, along with Tiana, and told Fiaa "I don't think anyone will mess with you-Or even will attempt to mess with you!".
Fiaa laughed and then went "Tsk. Not if my brown belt is on" while showing it to the two. "So what have you two weird girls been up to, huh?" Fiaa asked, taking her bag to go home after a chat.
Karla then said "Homework, studying, writing in my diary and...". She couldn't finish the sentence, because Fiaa shut her mouth and said "About what have you been writing?". Fiaa was very serious, so Karla got her hand off her mouth and said "About my crush on" she said, then went closer to Tiana and Fiaa and whispered "About my crush on Snap".
Tiana an Fiaa shot a look at Karla, then Tiana said "The intellectual cream-colored one?"
Karla nodded smiling. Fiaa and Tiana started laughing for no apparent reason. Karla asked "What?" as she got her school bag. Then Tiana said "You know he likes you right?"
Karla wanted to faint, but instead she just stared at Tiana. Then all three of them started laughing. They went out the door while Tiana told them about who she liked. "Well, personally, I like Oliver". Then Karla said "Tia, you have seriously bad choice in boys" they all laughed, then Tiana continued "Just kidding. No, actually I like Okel" she said. Fiaa then laughed "Now you're making sense! That boy is at least worth SOMETHING". They all laughed again when Karla asked Fiaa "Fiaa, do you like someone?". Fiaa stared at her, a frown on her face. Then she replied "No. That's my final answer". Then Tiana asked "Then why do you blush every time Koi, the black belt in your training room, passes by?". Fiaa stopped and face palmed herself. "Ok, ok... I don't REALLY like him though" said Fiaa, sitting at the bus stop. The other two sat down and laughed along with Fiaa. Then a horse passed by an asked the three "What are a rat, a dog and a cat doing together?". The girls looked at each other and Fiaa told the horse "No one said the world was normal". The horse then went away. A bus arrived and Tiana and Fiaa stepped in. "You coming?" Fiaa asked Karla. Karla then responded "Fiaa, you should know my mother's coming to pick me up today". Then the bus started and all three waved "Bye! See you tomorrow!".
I'm sorry it's so horrible...

Little shiny bauble, hidden 'neath the tree...

The light glinted, picking up the faintest trace of gold. There, tucked among the sprawling roots, was a small golden figure, left over from a time long ago.
A wind swept through the clearing, casting the grass into an impromptu ballet. The crunch of grass beneath silent feet, and a young man knelt down, looking puzzled. His hand reached down, and with the gentlest of grips he pulled the little figure free.
'What's a little trinket like you doing out here?'
He turned it over, watching as the light played across it's flawless surface. Standing, he made to put it back, but paused at the last second.
With a shrug, he slipped the little thing into his pocket.

A soft golden glow spread across the room.
The man was sleeping, face scrunched in discomfort from some wisp of a dream. Gradually the light spread across his body, just as the discomfort began to fade from his face.
Slowly, the glow intensified, growing even closer to the young man.
A small golden hand reached out, resting lightly on his forehead. Eyes of molten silver stared, and a tiny golden smile flashed across its face.
The man woke with a start, eyes narrowed against the light. Shock spread across his features, even as awe spread through his being.
The golden face moved, speaking in a worn, little used voice.
'Am I...just your tr...inket mister?'
He shook his head, eyes wide as he looked at the tiny golden boy.
'You're a treasure. The most perfect treasure anyone could hope to find.'
