Sparrowberry crouched in the bushes, her tail hovering above the ground gently. She moved silently, careful with her steps to avoid stepping on any leaves. She fixed her eyes on a plump little squirrel that was busy digging at the ground. She narrowed her eyes and leaped forward with her claws extended. As she leaped, her tail brushed against the bush and alerted the squirrel. The squirrel narrowly avoided her claws and dove towards the tree. Sparrowberry raced after the squirrel, but the squirrel had already darted up the tree. Sparrowberry reached the base of the tree and hesitated for a split second, but that split second was enough for the squirrel to gain enough ground to escape. Squirrels were her favorite prey to eat, but her least favorite prey to catch.
She used to love climbing trees until a branch cracked under her weight and set her plummeting to the forest floor. It had delayed her training along with her warrior ceremony, so she was not too keen on trying again when not too many moons had passed since the accident.
"Whatever," She muttered, "We have enough prey for the clan."

Skypaw was out in the forest. He had woken up late, so his mentor was already out of the camp by the time he had finally woken up. He decided to go out and explore the territory more. He knew that the warriors didn't support apprentices wandering off by themselves because they could encounter a rogue or a predator, but he figured the chances weren't very high. The clan hadn't had many reports of predators recently, and he used to be a rogue himself.
As he wandered through the forest, he saw a small clearing where the light was shining through on a large rock. "Perfect!" he exclaimed as he trotted over to the small smooth boulder. He jumped up onto the rock and curled up, feeling relaxed as he felt the sunlight hit his fur.
