I flew as fast as I could and stopped in front of the river. As the first three wolves ran at me, I flew to the side and they all three ran straight into the river. The last wolf ran as if it was blind. It ran one way and then the others Oh no, it's a mad wolf I flew upward, a bite from a mad wolf was dangerous. The wolf leaped up and grabbed my hind leg. I shrieked. "Doctor!" I screamed to my mate, hoping he could hear me

The bite started to swell with infection. I pushed up with my other three legs and started to flap. My vision was spotted as pain seared through my leg and I felt light-headed. I started flying, not even sure if I was going in the right direction toward the herd
