I pad over to the river. I'm far away from everyone else, so I think. I lap up a few drops, then step back. I never had liked the city, and now I felt comepletely at home in the forest. Comepletely at home.

I glance up, realizing I probably have been rude, for not asking if he wants any. Even though he already ate. Would you like some?" I aske politely, tipping my head ever so slightly.

Zespri stretched reluctantly. She looked over at Tux, then mewed, "Well....I think Im gonna go stretch my legs. If you want, you can come with..." She glanced behind her, debating where she would go.

Ollie chuckled slightly and rasied his paw and shook his head, "No I'm okay, I just ate." He grinned showing his fangs.

I nod, offering up a small smile. I take another bite of the rat, savoring the taste. "Ah, it's nice that there's so much more food now that those pesky humans are gone!" I say, licking my whiskers. I'd always been a stray cat, and had never liked humans, even if for the short time I'd known about them. I was young when they...dissapeared. I remember being hungry quite a bit. Now, with all of them gone, there was plenty of prey to go around.

I glance at Zespri. "I would love to come. You wouldn't mind?" I ask her.

Zespri shook her head. "I enjoy company, especially after being with just my brother for quite some time." She decided just to walk along the river bank.

I chuckle. "Ah, siblings. So, where to?" I ask. My mind jumps to all the possibilites of this walk. Maybe something cool and new and interesting will happen.

Zespri shrugged, but replied, "I was thinking of just traveling upstream along the river..." She paused, then questioned, "...but, what would you like to do?"

"Walking along the river sounds fine to me!" I reply. I glance over at Aliza, suddenly remembering she was there. She'd been so quiet. "Aliza, would you like to come?"

Zespri smiled over at Aliza, pondering her answer.
