Owl'paw was surprised to hear Smoke'paw laughing, but once she imagined what she probably looked like all splayed out on the ground, she let out a small giggle as well."Oh, yeah I'm fine! Just tripped over a pebble."

Lark'paw exited the medicine den and gave the clearing one last search for his mentor. As he expected, Soft'hare was no where to be seen. Lark'paw rolled his eyes and headed across camp, passing his sister and Smoke'paw on the way. Oh. His sister and... Smoke'paw. This could get interesting, he thought, and he stood casually near them so he could hear the conversation. Apprentice training could wait.

Vole'snout smirked as he heard Owl'paw let out a giggle. Madly in love, as I suspected. He thought he'd give her and Smoke'paw just a little more time to "talk", then he'd interrupt to take Smoke'paw out for training. After all, absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Sootheart's fur on his shoulders for a moment from Nightheart's panic attack. He wasn't use to him getting like this unexpectedly, but it was a different story when he can see it coming before it happens. "Nightheart, hey Nightheart. I'll be fine for the travel, we need the herbs after all. And you'll be fine with an apprentice. You are an exceptional Medicine cat, and our ancestors chose you for a reason. I know you tend to second guess yourself, but your knowledge on herbs is outstanding. I have faith in you, and I always will." Sootheart takes his tail and runs his over Nightheart's shoulder in attempt to calm him some. He learned early to never tell Nightheart to calm down, but instead to reassure him the best he could.

He flicked his ears as the warrior spoke "...I see? you get the patrols out? well, thank you I guess..." he meowed feeling a little embarrassed that either him, not Falconsweep was there to do their job, but a warrior needed to do that. He shook his head "nothing anymore, I was going to ask if he was organized the patrols, but if you did it already...it's pointless to ask him that now" he meowed with a sight.

She flicked her ears as the tom spoke "of course...I don't think nobody doubts your trustworthiness" she meowed to him with a smirk. She thought for a moment "or did you plan to eat that rabbit by yourself, but I caught you before doing that?" she meowed with a laugh.

She walked slowly to the fresh-kill pile, silently so she could not wake up Lightkit, which was still sleeping at their nest. She was heavily on pregnant and could give birth anytime soon, she didn't want to think about it, but it sure scared her a lot. Getting down she picked up a sparrow and started to eat it, enjoying the prey as it seemed to be freshly killed one.

She watched the little group of apprentices there talking with Volesnout. She was not really that social, so going into a group was little hard for her and usually left alone, instead, her eyes cached one of the apprentice's being alone there. She took a few slow steps toward Wrenpaw before was close enough to her "hey Wrenpaw? What are you up to?" she meowed to her.

Owl’paw gave Smoke’paw a warm smile. “It's fine! The mental image of myself splayed out on the ground was enough to make me laugh, so actually seeing it must have been hilarious.” She stood back up and shook the dust from her fur, sneezing loudly when she accidentally breathed it in.

Wren'paw heard a soft meow behind her and turned around, surprised to see Hamster'paw standing there. "Oh, hi Hamster'paw. I'm just waiting for my mentor, Hawk'bite. Are you going out for training?" Wren'paw had never really talked to the cream tabby, but found herself weirdly distracted by Hamster'paws soft fur and big blue eyes.

Smokepaw blushed as he realized that his mentor had been there still.

"Uh hehe yeah!" He meowed. "What about Larkpaw? Is he around?"

He didn't know Larkpaw as well as he would admit even though, they shared a den. He thought it couldn't hurt to make some friends.

Owl’paw felt an unexpected embarrassment when her father interrupted her conversation with Smoke’paw. Why am I embarrassed? She wondered. It's not like I, you know, like Smoke’paw or anything. We’re just friends. Owl’paw suddenly remembered why she had originally exited the medicine den. She was going to the meadow for a sky-gazing session! Confident that Smoke’paw wouldn’t notice her slipping away, she darted for the camp entrance, excited to visit her spot in the meadow once again.

Vole’snout twitched his whiskers, slightly shocked my Smoke’paws request. “Oh, you want to invite my son? I suppose. Unfortunately, I don’t know where he or his prissy excuse for a mentor are, so we’ll have to search around.” Vole'snout looked around the camp, his amber eyes narrow. He finally spotted his son near the entrance tunnel, his ears perked as if he had been listening to something. "There he is."

Cheetahpaw's ears pricked, listening to Sootheart and Nightheart's conversation. He knew he shouldn't but he couldn't help himself. To think that even Nightheart doubted his skills as a Medicine Cat made Cheetahpaw think they weren't so different afterall.

"Alright!" Smokepaw chirped.
He turned to say his goodbyes to Owlpaw but she was nowhere to be found. He hoped that she was alright but knew that she was a tough young she-cat. Afterall, she probably had some important Medicine Cat Apprentice duty or something. He quickly shook away his worry before practically bouncing beside his mentor toward Larkpaw.

He let out a deep breath and nodded. He was still panicking, as it was never that easy, but he was steadily calming himself, grateful for the elder Medicine Cat's words. ``If you say so. It doesn't stop my worries, but it's definitely a huge help! We've got this. Or well- you've got this. Nothing will end up changing while you're gone for me. My job will be the exact same, haha.`` He smiled, giggling a little. he turned around to his little pits of herbs to double check if he had enough travelling herbs for two cats. ``I'm not doubting your fighting skills but,, are you sure you aren't going to bring a Warrior?``

He let out a fake gasp, quivering his lip to bring out his crocodile tears. ``Whaaaaat!? I'd NEVER!! You're so mean to doubt me like that!!!`` He folded his ears down, lifting his head up to scream out like a kit. Despite his age he would never grow out of his antics. He acted like he enjoyed the suffering and exhausted sighs coming from his clanmate, but perhaps he just wanted attention and a reaction.

He tilted his head down in embarrassment, licking his chest so he didn't have to look up at his leader. ``Ah- I hope that wasn't too bad. I just saw some of the apprentice's being rowdy and restless so I tried to make sure they had something important to do this morning. You know how the younger cats get when they're left with nothing to do. He paused and gave a giggle, looking back up again. ``I guess I should really stop sounding like an elder! Maybe if I keep talking like I'm old I'll grow grumpy too.``
