"They've been silent for so many moons!" One voice cried out. "When will they give us answers?" Another demanded. Soon the entire cave was echoing with cats distraught by the Tribe of Wishing Stars' betrayal. "What about our kits?" A queen's outraged voice called.
The she-cat observed the chaos from atop the Speaking Ledge, her tail bristling and ears flattened. "Silence!" She demanded. As the voices died down, she continued. "I know that Starwatcher has been...out of commission lately, but this does not give any cat right to blame our ancestors just for not speaking! Even they may not know what is to come for this Tribe."
A young tom spoke. "Well if they do not know, are they even to be trusted any longer?" This caused more rumors to pass around the cave.
The she-cat growled. "Is it our place to decide whether our ancestors are right or wrong? Make no mistake, they are not deities, and even their knowledge only goes so far."
The young tom called again. "Still, they should've warned us that half of our Tribe would be dead in a moon from the Red Darkness!"
The she-cat yet again huffed in annoyance. "Our Tribe will prosper, trust me well on that. We must be patient, and wait for our sign."

PLOT REMINDER (PLEASE READ): There is a major divide between the Tribe currently, causing many arguments. A sickness (aka Red Darkness for the blood coughed out by those affected) hit last season, and The Tribe of Wishing Stars has not been seen in many moons, even to give the newest Starwatcher their consult or any new information. It is now Greenleaf, and the sun is shining, but tensions are still subtly rising...
