While Softfeather was relieved to hear from Cricketsong that all was well, the accompanied yowling on Bouncekit's part followed by the nervous squeaks of Beekit did little to help ease her mind. She took a deep breath, watched Bouncekit pad away. Beekit was huddled close to their parent, but this wasn't very surprising, as Beekit was always adhered to Cricketsong's side. Cicadakit meanwhile... while Softfeather couldn't see them, she knew how to find them with minimal effort - should she choose to use her prophecy's granted powers.

Settling down beside the queen, she offered a smile to the cat and their daughter.
"Well, so long as everything's alright." She mewed. "Do you want me to get you anything? Sootleaf brought some prey over earlier, if you're hungry." She offered.

I'm just quoting this one since not much has happened with Softfeather I don't believe?

He nodded at her "yes I trust her leadership, but I just hope she could take care of herself as well and don't overstress herself too much, nine lives or not, they don't really make much difference if the body is dying out" he meowed to her. He shook his head looking up to the sky "so now when we're talked about Miragestar, then what about you? Going well?" he meowed looking at her with a smile.

He walked forward his tail flicking side to side, maybe his movements were too visible and could scare all the prey away from them, but it didn't really matter they're going to do some fishing so if land animals run away didn't matter. He looked at the blue water in front of them "here we are, let's see if we could find some good fishes to catch, by the way, do you have any favorite fish? or do you like them all?" he asked Creamflower.

She looked over at Foxpaw then to Wolfheart. not really saying anything she really didn't know what to say, well the apprentice was going back to camp that could be the best anyway. She flicked her ears when the small group of cats approved them, not so surprised that the Redspaltter was leading it 'who she thinks she is?' she thought herself, but decided not to say anything any longer, she knew now that she takes everything way too serious so why to speak anything at all 'as if you care...you only want me to be blamed for few words...which make you seem like a good cat' she keep thinking with a sight. She noticed the glare Lionstride gave to her but ignored him, she didn't really care anymore, she was so tired of this all 'seriously what is she talking about? loyalty, I could do anything for my clanmates, but you are not my clanmates, just some weirdo' she keeps thinking, wanting to say word or two, but thought it could only make thinks worst and she wanted this to end already.

He gave a quick look around "I am not either, ti's not like I am even looked for the apprentice, but whatever...we could get out so he can have some alone time for now...you can always train him later on" he meowed to her with a smile.

She nodded to Acornpaw "yeah three-way training would be cool, maybe we could do prophecy training together?" she meowed but then started to think "or could that be too dangerous? my electricity, your time stopping and Hailpaw's storms..." she meowed. She thought more about her words "do you think that your prophecy could be the strongest of us three? I mean you can stop time? do you be stopped to when you do that? or can you move?" she asked Acornpaw curiously.

Not that I don’t trust her of course, but she’s still young for a medicine cat apprentice. I remember Freshbreath took a good long few moons before he got his name. Pretty sure my ears are still ringing from when his mentor cuffed me upside the head for being a dumb paw.” Ah yes, the good old days when he and his siblings had everything to prove and nothing to lose...

♥ "You think Miragestar is dying?" she asked in shock, her eyes wide. The light cream she-cat had never thought the death of the leader would come, especially with so many of her lives left. Acaciapetal blinked the surprise from her expression and managed to calm herself now that the topic had changed. Although she still didn't know how comfortable she was with it. "I suppose things are going well. A little slow being the deputy sometimes, but that gives me the chance to be with you." Acaciapetal smiled back at him, her ears warming up. Although she couldn't help her feelings, she thought to herself, You have to stop doing this. Who knows if he even has feelings for you too? It'll just be setting you up for heartbreak... and possibly the loss of your rank.

However, when Pigeonpaw met her gaze, he still seemed expectant and waiting for her to say something. Of course. Not only was Mousewhisker his mentor, but he was mute. Hesitating, he wondered if he should forgive her so quickly when she had been pestering him so much... but he smiled and nudged her playfully. "No hard feelings. Besides, that's a much better idea." However, Hailpaw's optimism was twisted yet again when Coconutpaw suggested prophecy training. What is it with these she-cats? he wondered to himself, beginning to feel filled with dread yet again.

✘ She watched the tom turn around with wide eyes, her grouchy expression maintaining on her face. The light brown tabby she-cat flicked her tail-tip in irritation and waited for him to come up with an excuse. Of course, the patrol. "I thought I saw Redsplatter return in the middle of my meal. I'm not sure about Twistflare and their apprentices, though. Didn't see any prey. What good is a hunting patrol without having any of them bring something back?" Nettlefern complained and finally rolled her eyes. She sniffed disdainfully and began grooming herself, peering at Bumblesight. Why was he so worried about what Hollysight wanted? "Are you too lazy to go hunting yourself? Or are you just at Hollysight's every beck and call?"

Bumblesight listened to the elder's complaints. "I suppose its not their fault if there's no good prey around. Besides, hunting can be hard. Not every hunting patrol will be guaranteed to get prey," he pointed out. "But...the other patrol has been out for a while. I wonder what's up, are they okay?" He meowed that more to himself, as he wasn't sure the elder would give a mousetail for the patrol's safety and well-being.

"Are you too lazy to go hunting yourself? Or are you just at Hollyspring's every beck and call?"

Bumblesight's ear flicked slightly in irritation, and his back fur ruffled just a touch. The warrior kept his composure. "No, I'm not too lazy. You did say there's another patrol and even Hollyspring is hunting now anyways, so I might as well just wait until then and not waste my energy. Plus, if anything happens," Bumblesight warily looked around. "I want to be here. And no again, I am not. I was just getting my own food and decided to get Hollyspring something. Like I said though, he's hunting himself, so I guess I don't need anything." With that, Bumblesight slightly backed away from the prey pile so another cat could comfortably be in front of him, and edged more towards the elder for further conversation.

Needlestorm hurried after Redsplatter as the warrior padded out of camp leading the patrol towards the border. They gave a shake of their head when Redsplatter began tell them more, the fact that Twistflare had lashed out so much that she had said something so shocking like that was bad. Their gaze darkened as Redsplatter roller her eyes but they didn't say anything. Besides it seemed like Lionstride had something to say which made their lack of words less noticeable. The smell of blood and the reek of fox hit their nose seconds before Redsplatter spoke up. The fur on their neck spiked in anger and anticipation as they sank into a crouch and stalked after Redsplatter. Thankfully, or unfortunutly, when they found the source of the scent it was just Twistflare, Wolfheart and Foxpaw. Just as their neck fur was starting to flatten they saw Wolfhearts injuries and their neck fur fluffed back up. Hurrying forward they gave the older warrior a quick sniff, they bit back sharp words though they sent a glower at Twistflare. If the molly had decided to throw a tantrum and hadn't stuck by the border so long then they wouldn't have been spotted. Wolfheart would never have been injured. At the sound of Redsplatter they gave a quick dip of their head and gave Wolfheart's shoulder wound one last sniff before hurrying to the front of the patrol. Their ears twitched as they heard the patrol talking. "Loyalty to the clan and our clanmates is all that matters, it is what sets us apart from rogues and any warrior so fox-hearted to be disloyal or speak of disloyalty should be treated as such. After all lack of loyalty is not a tiny mistake" the calcio cat meowed sharply.

Archsong slipped into the nursery after Hazelkit and let her gaze flicked over the kits gathered. The den was getting crowded with so many kits and caretakers in the den. However she had to stay she had promised Ryewhisker that she would look after Hazelkit and intended on keeping her promise. Skirting the kits she made her way to her nest and settled down in the soft moss peering over at Cricketsong who was curled up with Beekit. The tiny three moon kit had out grown Echokit who was currently leading the other kits. Pulling her gaze from the duo she turned her attention to Hazelkit, Bouncekit and Echokit a warmth in her gaze as she watched the kits. It seemed they had made a moss ball and had decided that they were going to play with it. For a moment worry darkened her gaze she spared a glance at Hazelkit's bad hind leg. But before any of the kits could notice she curled up in her nest while keeping a close eye on the kits.

Echokit blinked in confusion when Beekit darted away, the larger kit scrambled over her mothers side and disappeared behind the orange and cream pelt of the queen. Having the attention span of a fly though the young tome quickly forgot about Beekits quick retreat and was distracted by the moss ball. Echokit let out a squeak of excitement when Bouncekit agreed and then batted the moss ball. Darting forward he pounced on the moss ball, rolling a couple of times with the ball before straightening and looking between Hazelkit and Bouncekit. "Hello Hazelkit!" he mewed with excitement as he looked up at the larger kit. Then he turned to Bouncekit. "It's super easy and fun! One of us hooks our claw on the ball and throws at someone else, that kit has to try and catch it and throw it to someone else. I heard that it supposed to help with our hunting skills" he chirped with bright eyes. "Here me and Hazelkit can show you! Hazelkit I'm gonna toss it to you but its gonna be super easy so that Bouncekit can see what we are talking about!" Then he hooked his claw in the moss so that Bouncekit could see and tossed it towards Hazelkit. The throw was well aimed and would be easy to catch,

Creamflower listens to Scarletjade's question and shrugs, unsure of the answer. "I don't know Scarletjade." she answered. "I guess I never really thought about that! I do enjoy them all I guess!" She licks her lips at the thought of eating all kinds of fish that are found in the stream.

Redsplatter noticed Twistflare's silence - of course she did. Maybe she she-cat had managed to learn that speaking badly about her Clanmates did little to actually benefit her. Looking more than a little smug, she turned her gaze to Lionstride and nodded her continued agreement.

"Oh, Lionstride, I couldn't come up with an answer for that one - really. No cat would want to betray their Clanmates, directly or indirectly. Something like leaving your Clanmates to fend for themselves, alone in a battle, would be just as bad as attacking them yourself." She shrugged her shoulders and sighed. "I'm so lucky that we don't have anyone like that in the Clan. Imagine, had Twistflare and Wolfheart been at odds with one another during the fox encounter, one of them could have died!" She shook her head. "I'll be happy to get back to camp and get this all sorted out. Twistflare," She turned to the she-cat. "I'll make sure that you get to Miragestar once we're back in camp. I'm sure it won't take too long and you can be in the medicine cat den before you know it." She said with a sweet smile. Perking her ears as she turned her gaze up ahead to Needlestorm when the cat put in their opinion, she nodded emphatically. "Well said, Needlestorm. You're a great example of a loyal cat, to be sure."

Redsplatter then glanced at Foxpaw, who looked rather defeated - but Foxpaw really wasn't the target of her passive aggression at this point. One thing was certain of Redsplatter - if you did wrong by her,as Twistflare had, she would hold a grudge for seasons to come.

"Oh, look! That's the camp entrance up ahead! Thank goodness you guys weren't too far away from the camp... Though someone should mention to Acaciapetal about the fox, in case it comes back. Needlestorm, would you be up to letting her know?" She asked the cat up ahead.

Well, that was certainly disconcerting hearing the wrong name come from her leader’s mouth. Still, it’d be rude to not correct her, right? “It’s... Stormgrowl, Miragestar,” she said, uncomfortably awkward. It was awkward being uncomfortable, but at the same time... uncomfortable being awkward. “And that makes a bit more sense, her prophecy of empathy must feel the jealousy coming off of those cats. Still, as much as I respect their teaching ability, I fear for apprentices like Brookpaw, who has a prophecy-less mentor. Us prophecy mentors only have so little time with them in comparison. Surely Acaciapetal must see this?”
