Yeah, I visit the painting almost every day. It has some kind of surreal draw that almost bugs me. It's like looking at a real horse somehow and I can't believe I did it. I hope all my art turns out this way. I really want to thank everyone for their crits and comments. 10 pages, wow and about 150 people like it. I'm a way impressed newbie.

Actually it is that way in my reference as well, Not sure if it was a trick of lighting, but it looked that way in the photograph... the left eye was below the right and the left nostril was above the right. Weirdly enough not lateral either way, I th ink it's because he's not only coming at you but turning his neck and h ead slightly thus fore lengthening instead of foreshortening. Also the stallion is twisting his lip I think, it goes down and to the right as if he's just finished chewing or some such. I'm too perfectionistic, lol. Equid Phantasm <------- critiques self again.
