RavenClan (Warriors RP)

[Mist]

Many seasons ago a descendant of Tigerstar, Brownstripe, and her mate, Ravenfoot, were exiled from ShadowClan after killing the current leader and deputy. They managed to leave Clan territory only to find out Brownstripe was expecting kits. The pair made their way through the forest and made a makeshift camp in a large bramble thicket. Ravenfoot soon began recruiting nearby cats to help hunt and protect his small family and by the time the kits were born there were many who had joined the pair. “It’s like we have our own little Clan of rouges,”Brownstripe meowed and RavenClan was born.

Territory:

RavenClan is situated in a thick forest with a stream that runs through it that acts as a natural border. Open fields mark the other borders.

Camp:
RavnClan's camp is a large bramble thicket that is enclosed on all sides except for a thorny tunnel that provides the entrance. Bushes serve as dens for the leader, medicine cats, warriors, apprentices, and elders. An old fox den serves as the nursery.

Rules:
All of Tess' rules apply
No being your own mate/crush
Only use warrior swears such as Foxdung, mousedung, ect..
Timeskip for mating and kitting
Know something about the Warriors world please
No powers or special abilities
Use real warrior names please
No Mary Sues or Gray Stus
No Powerplaying or Godmoding
No more than one high ranking position per person. Ex. You can't be the deputy and Medicine cat apprentice
You may have as many characters as you can handle
Try to keep genders even
If you are unable to post for a while please let me know. If you don't and are inactive for three weeks your characters will be removed

The rumbling purr that had been there all throughout his sleep, cut off abruptly as he awoke. Stark amber eyes snapping open as his dreams faded from reach, causing a sigh to pass his lips. Letting out a short soft hum, the tom shook it off, and got to his paws, before padding out of the warrior's den. Blinking rapidly for a few moments the tom relaxed when the glare of the sun was no longer in his eyes. Taking a quick glance around camp, he spotted only a few clan-mates up and about. He spotted his apprentice, Stormpaw by the prey pile and Lightningstar seemed to be looking for his own apprentice; Cornpaw.

A shiver ran through her spine as she awoke, causing her to grumble softly. Slowly, her partially clouded eyes opened and took note of her situation. Another leak. I'll have to get some of the warriors or apprentices to fix it. Hazeshade grumbled mentally, before getting to her paws. Padding out of the elder's den the she-cat headed straight for the prey-pile, ignoring Stormpaw and grabbing a shrew, before heading towards a sunny area to sun herself while she ate. But first, I need to eat. I have first rights after all, along with Lilysong, Amberdust, and the kits. The feline mused silently. Laying down happily - or as happily as she could these days - Hazeshade let out a rumbling purr and took a bite of her meal.

Cliffpaw had found an interesting mentor within Riverfeather, and he found the two got along well together when it came to work, though the two may not always agree. But that was neither here nor there, after all the land of dreams had no rhyme or reason. The young tom was a bit of a night-owl, preferring the cool nights to the warm Greenleaf days. At this point Cliffpaw was sleeping soundly, paws twitching every now and then. Often times the tom dreamed of terrible storms, or of having father-son time with Hawkthroat, other times it Cliffpaw would awaken with just a terrible sense of dread. On those days he'd be rather jumpy and stick close to either his mentor or father. Thankfully for him, today Cliffpaw's dreams were a mixture of storm and bonding time with his father.

She hadn't had a good day in many moons, at least not after waking up with no memory except her name; Maplehaze - to which, who named their kit that? - her age; 48 moons, not too young, not too old, and that for whatever reason, Ravenclan was her home. The biggest problem, she had no idea where this home was. Or what this Ravenclan was. It was strange, and at first, she rebelled against her overwhelming need to get back and had - attempted - to both ignore it and run away from where ever this Ravenclan was. Of course, she could have been running towards it for all she knew back then. Shaking her head, the torbie kept padding on, ignoring her burning paws. She'd been walking most of the night, only stopping occasionally to stop to get something to drink. Now, Maplehaze planned to grab something quick to eat - like a mouse - then find a place to sleep for a little while before getting back onto finding Ravenclan

He waited patiently for his mother to finish up with his pelt and even his sister's fur, when the few words of his mother's comed out he raced outside of the nursery only a few steps behind his sister. He made a quick look around the camp, not really seeing anyone except the elder into the fresh-kill pile "Hello hello Hazeshade? Did you find anything good to eat?" he meowed running to the elderly cat.

After her mother finished cleaning her fur, she dazed out of the nursery like a surprised squirrel to the tree. She didn't really look around her at all but managed to see Hazeshade at the pile, she jumped into her shoulder lightly "Hazeshade, Good morning" she meowed looking up to the larger cat.

Huffing quietly the large grey and white tabby sat in his nest, blue orbs scanning the bodies of his sleeping companions; stiffling a yawn the large warrior reached his front paws forward in a stretch, tail curling behind him as he did so. Satisfied with his stretching the large tom carefully made his way through the sleeping warriors, once out of the den Riverfeather had to blink a few times from the early rays of the sun; flicking an ear he began to scan the camp for the dark brown body of his apprentice Cliffpaw.

A soft hum filled the medicine cats den as a small white and grey patches tabby moved from one side to the next, plants and flowers dangling from her maw; placing the herbs down gently she began to sort through them, taking out the old and damaged ones that had started to rot she set them to her left, naming them off in her head as she made a little pile beside her *another one? I'm gonna have to go out with a patrol to find more* Splashpaw thought to herself as she discarded yet another borage leaf.

Hemlockweb stayed by the natural border, being the stream. He didn't cross it, simply sat there as he usually did. He was known for returning to camp with fish more often than forest prey. Allowing his tail to swish in the water, he leaned down to lap from the stream, ears perked for anyone or anything coming up behind him. He wasn't too afraid, since he could easily stare down almost anyone, but it was better to be safe than sorry as he would often say. He sat up, lapping more water from his paw than directly from the stream. His black pelt felt hot in the sun, but he bared it for the cool water.

He gave a loud yawn, stretching himself before running around in circles, trying to jump up to grasp on leaves. Perhaps he could use all the leaves he's tearing from the trees for nests, but he certainly hasn't thought of doing that yet. He valued his own entertainment highly at the moment. ``HYAAH!`` He'd scream whenever he jumped up, probably scaring everything in a 15ft radius. He giggled to himself whenever he lost his breath, before inevitably continuing his childish antics.

Olivebrook sat in the camp, looking around him to keep everything in check, and to stop any fights or recklessness happening. As much as he enjoyed his usual lazy strolls, he took his roll as Deputy very seriously. He groomed the side of his pelt while on watch. He was sitting right by the entrance, dipping his head to everyone leaving or returning out of respect, greetings or good luck. He decided once all the dusk patrols were send out at the end of the day he would go out on his own, but until then he was hard at work, either sorting himself into patrols or watching over the camp. He admittedly worked himself a lot compared to when he was a Warrior, but he seemed happy with himself nonetheless.

The large ginger tabby blinked when he felt something near his tail. He chuckled softly when he noticed his apprentice. "I didn't see you at all Cornpaw," he meowed. "Very well done. Now why don't you check to make sure the elders, queens, and kits have gotten something to eat while I see what patrols have gone out."

Stormpaw's ears twitched slightly when Hazeshade walked over and picked up her piece of fresh-kill. "Morning Hazeshade," she meowed but the elder had already moved on. "I guess I better see if Hawkthroat is up yet," she muttered to herself before glancing around camp. Once she had spotted her mentor she made her way over. "Good morning Hawkthroat," she greeted with a small bow of her head.

He let his mentor's tail go and looked at him "alright, I will do that..." he responded to him. He made a notice that there was plenty of prey at the fresh-kill pile, but they seemed so small ones, mostly mice and some birds. He then noticed that the queen Amberdust, her kits, and Hazeshade were already at the pile so asking them was pointless at the moment, so the only one left to ask were Lilysong another queen.

Blizzardblossom groggily gets up from her nest, her grey and white patch long fur in tatters from the horrible sleep the previous night. Her ears twitching at the sounds of her apprentice shuffling in the medicine den. With a grunt she gets up and walks her way to her white and grey patched apprentice. "What kind of mentor am I if I can't be up before my apprentice?" She offers she smaller cat a smile.

Thistleshade slowly walks in the shadows of the trees, being caution of the new area he had enter hours ago. he has been traveling, getting away from his ex-clan to stay out of their reach. And it hadn't been a pleasant journey at all. His unfortunate runt size has made him a easy target from other cats and birds of the like. But for now, he was more focused on finding food and old den to sleep in.

A soft startled sound, not having heard Nightpool pad up behind him. He shot her a half-hearted glare, but purred, "Hmm, it seems so." Glancing at the black-furred warrior he let out a hum before turning his attention to Stormpaw as she approached. "Good morning, Stormpaw." He replied, "Are you ready for training today?" He figured that he could get straight to the point and hopefully get them out of camp before Olivebrook assigned them to a patrol. Hawkthroat preferred to only patrol after morning training, so his more excitable clan-mates, would have hopefully calmed down a bit. But he couldn't always escape it, so it was a toss-up. The tom sat down, amber gaze on his patched apprentice, waiting for her reply.

Her chewing came to an abrupt stop as the clan's two kits, Morningkit and Black-kit raced over to her. She blinked as they greeted her and then happily interrogated her. Raising a whiskered brow the she-cat huffed. Quickly chewing and swallowing her bite, she rasped," Good Morning, Little ones. I did in fact find something good to eat, a lovely shrew." While not fully blind, at this point she was more blind than not, often only seeing blurred shapes of color. So it took a moment for her to realize that it was Amberdust following after the two kits. After all, Amberdust wasn't the only tortie in the clan. Her cloudy green gaze flickered to Amberdust and huffed, "It's fine child, calm yourself." The elder paused for a moment then mewed," Why don't you go relax, while I look after these youngsters."

Of course it wasn't long before the tom was awake. His dream ending on a sour note, his mother's body seared in his mind. While not waking dramatically, he would obviously not be in a very good mood today. He laid in his nest for a moment before the Bengal got to his paws and padded out of the den, ears airplane, an obvious sign of his mood. Light mossy green eyes flickered around camp for a few heartbeats, silently taking note of the positions of his clan-mates. A grunt left him as he spotted Riverfeather, and started to make his way over to the tom with long sure-footed strides. The tom stopped but a few steps from his mentor, and let out a wordless grunt in greeting.

Her lips curled into a sneer as the scent of another cat wafted into her nose. From the slight breeze, she knew she wasn't following the cat's direct scent, but it would lead her to her target well enough if she didn't just rely on her nose. While her paws hurt from her constant traveling she did want some company, maybe she could interrogate them and find out any rumors about Ravenclan. Yes, that would be good.
