Lions are a special-release pet - they've never been regular adoptables, as they're meant to be unusual and special. ;3 Typically lions only come out for holidays like Christmas, Easter or Valentine's Day, like the bunnies, old-lineart cats (apart from the ones from a couple years ago), guinea pigs and bats. The regular adoptables here are dogs, rats, horses, butterfly wolves and cats, with Malk pets occasionally, so those are what you'll see the most of, and the other pets are far less commonly released.

racism
n.
1. The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.
2. Discrimination or prejudice based on race.
lions and dogs are not races. Dog-loving people are not a race of people.
