Micah Raziel
Be strong now because things will get better.
It might be stormy now, but it can't rain forever.
Micah watched the demon curiously at her reaction to learning about his parents. She seemed more resigned and sad. It made him wonder about her parents, if they were still among the living, but he didn't press. Not at that moment. The information would be very useful to him, and a he would find a way to ask about her parents somehow. Instead of responding to her about his parents, he decided to move on to the questioning.
He didn't consider it a game. No, war definitely wasn't a game, but he didn't so say, to glad that she had agreed to go along with the interrogation.
"I would like to know how many demon kingdoms are participating in the war? You are the princess of the Siren Kingdom, correct? Is your kingdom participating?" He would have liked to ask about how large the troops of the armies were as well, but... He had to see how much he could get out of her first before asking detailed questions like that. He paused and then asked,
"How about your and the queen's parents? Are they participating and helping you as well?" Hopefully, his question about her parents didn't make her too upset.
Echo Rigel
Don't worry about the darkness in my soul.
It ignites me like an embered coal.
As soon as the queen spoke, the demons in the surrounding area all pointed to Echo. He kept his gaze neutral, even as he wanted to give all the cowards a lesson. They took jobs like him too. The only difference between him and them was how cowardly they were. They were too scared to risk taking a job from the queen about her missing sister. What would happen if they failed?
Well, Echo would have to try not to fail. He hardly saw how he could refuse to do something the queen asked of him. He stepped towards her and went right down to business, not bothering to show any respect. She needed him. She wouldn't send him to prison for refusing to bow.
"How much are you paying?"
