Quickly, and unsurprisingly, Bouncekit got bored of looking at all the herbs despite them having an interesting smell. He shifted his paws uncomfortably and looked up at the apprentice — who was nudging the leaves into piles with her nose. "Specklepaw, I think I'm going to leave." He meowed quickly, "This is too boring!" And before Specklepaw could say anything, the hefty kitten loudly walked out of the medicine den. Fresh air and scents filled his nostrils — he was pleased that he was out of that den. Despite being tricked to leave the nursery, Bouncekit made his way back and noticed a slightly older, but smaller, kit looking bothered.

"Hi Beekit!" He meowed loudly, "Whatcha doing?"

"Oh, alright then." Specklepaw meowed quietly as she sorted the herbs — not paying a lot of attention to the kit. She wasn't very surprised that Bouncekit had lost interest so rapidly. He was more energetic after all.

"How are you doing, Cicadakit?" The apprentice glanced at the other kitten, "Have you managed to tidy them?"

Foxpaw snuck out of the way of her mentor, and walked over to the warrior's den. Seeing that Wolfheart and Twistflare were gone, she snuck out of camp, to look for them.

Maplecloud nodded thoughtfully at Ryewhisker's words. Hazelkit was young and that was a fact but the young kit and proved to be dedicated and smart, she had no doubt that they would be smart enough to stay out of trouble. As for trouble finding the young kit it was hard to believe that they were in any danger while inside the camp. Here they were surrounded by skilled warriors who wouldn't hesitate to protect them. She let out a small purr of agreement, "Bearshade is looking down on her with pride I know it. He will walk by her side for many seasons to come" she mewed. The reassurance of knowing her mate and her kit were walking by her side every step of the way had given her more strength than she would ever admit. Plus they weren't alone, she had watchful eyes from her parents and her siblings and one day she would join them. But that day wasn't for a long time. With that thought she tilted her head back and gaze up at the sky searching for a sign that her family was watching her. Then she glanced at Ryewhisker out of the corner of her eye. "Shall we leave now or wait for Sunhigh?" she asked curiously. A excited mew dragged her attention away from Ryewhisker and her gaze warmed at the sight of Hazelkit jumping for joy. The small kit landed wrong and ended up on their back, Maplecloud made a mental note to figure out how to teach the kit how to jump. It was something she had to figure out as well, fear of landing and using her hind leg had kept her grounded thus far. "And a fine hunter you will be" she purred.

Through half closed eyes Needlestorm had been watching the interaction between Miragestar and Redsplatter. It appeared as though something serious was happening and though they weren't interested in drama they were curious about this. Pricking their ears they watched as Redsplatter strolled away from the leader and approached Lionstride and Stormgrowl. Focusing entirely on the trio she made out what they were talking about. It seemed Redsplatter was going to be leading another patrol, this time the patrol was to retrieve a wandering warrior. Their interest officially peeked they pushed themselves to their paws and casually padded over. Pausing in front of Redsplatter they fixed them with their pale green gaze. "Good morning Redsplatter, do you mind of I join the patrol?" they asked as casually as possible. The only thing that gave away their interest was the way the end of their spiky tail twitched with excitement. This wasn't a patrol that they wanted to miss. With their intense gaze fixed on Redsplatter they had barely acknowledged the other two warriors.

Cedarsight found the silence comfortable as the duo padded away from camp, it was rare that he could just enjoy a clanmates presence. Usually there was some fear in the back of his mind that he would get a vision about them. For some reason that didn't bother him as much right now. Just as he was settling into a comfortable stroll a paw reached out and swatted his tail. Surprised he glanced over at the black tom and swished his tail to gently swipe the Mothmouth's ears in retaliation. He tilted his head slightly at the jest and then let out a mrow of laughter. "Surely you jest! We both know who would lose that race... Me and my big clumsy paws" he joked amusement warming his voice. Nudging Mothmouths shoulder he jogged forward a couple of pawsteps before slowing down and drawing a deep breath. "There is a stretch of meadow without any brush in the way, lets race there. Knowing my big paws I will find the one stick and trip and make a fool of myself" he meowed thoughtfully. Racing really wasn't his strong suit with his large bulk he found it hard to gather up enough speed to race. Sure he could run after a rabbit but it was much easier for him to stalk his prey rather than race it.

He had gotton up now, he felt like talking to someone. "Hey, Maplecoud, Ryewhisker. How are you guys today?" He sat down and wapped his tail around his big paws.

Wolfheart - Tags: Twistflare, some fox
Seeing Twistflare in trouble, he leapt on the fox’s face and clawed at its eyes, ignoring the burning pain as it now bit his hind leg. With a sharp yelp, the fox released him before shaking him off, sending Wolfheart crashing to the ground beside Twistflare. Instead of continuing its attack, it ran back into the bushes with its tail tucked between its legs. “Good fighting,” Wolfheart meowed heartily, standing up. “It’ll have some nasty scars on its nose for sure! Though I did see that tail bite, are you okay?”

Stormgrowl - Tags: Lionstride, Redsplatter, Miragestar
Before Lionstride could reply, Redsplatter appeared, brushing against him before shooting her a look. Stormgrowl wanted to claw said look off of the other she-cats face, but barely restrained herself. Just because there was some moony cat being jealous didn’t mean she had to tear them apart for looking at her. Still, she had better things to do than just have herself be mentally tortured by Redsplatter. “Go ahead and have him,” Stormgrowl grunted, and stood up. Then, just to be ornery, she added a sly, “Lionstride finished helping me with my grooming anyways.”

Stormgrowl padded off and found her next target: the elderly leader of Destinyclan. The she-cat had only just finished talking to Redsplatter, but she was now unoccupied. “Good morning, Miragestar,” she greeted respectfully. “There’s been something nagging at me for moons now and I must ask. Why are there non-prophecy cats teaching those apprentices with them? It doesn’t feel like they’re getting proper training.”

She pondered how to respond to her mentor before simply just nodding. Silentpaw got in a hunter’s crouch, then gestured outside, hoping her mentor would understand. Someone had to restock that fresh kill pile and it may as well be herself. After all, there were a lot of caretakers to feed and pawful of kits too.

“We just fought one off and- where did you even come from? Is Aspenheart with you?” Wolfheart frowned at the small she-cat. Apprentices knew they weren’t supposed to go off without their mentor, especially so close to the border. Who knew if the fox would come back? It was far too dangerous for Foxpaw to be here.

"Indeed, he is." It made Ryewhisker relax again. Their faith in StarClan had always comforted them, and they knew they weren't far off from being there themself. But it meant seeing Bearshade, and their mothers again. And many, many clanmates they had missed over the moons and moons of their life.
They looked at the sky, checking for any signs of bad weather, "I don't see why we shouldn't go now. Some time outside will do us some good." They then looked at Goldrush and smiled, "Hello, Goldrush! Me and Maplecloud were about to head out and find a good area to relax in. Would you like to accompany us?"


Hazelkit

She was happy with herself, and that's all that mattered to her at the moment. She then quickly walked over to Maplecloud, before she forgot, "Thank you Maplecloud!" Ryewhisker would have scolded her out for being rude and not thanking the molly for her assistance. Hazelkit wouldn't have gotten that far without her.

“No,” Wolfheart said sternly. “We’re going back to camp and you’re coming with us. Not only do we need to see Freshbreath for our wounds, but it’s too dangerous for an apprentice to be out of camp by themselves and I need to tell Aspenheart of your actions so that you can be punished properly. C’mon, lets go you two.” Wolfheart began leading the way back to camp, pausing to make sure Twistflare and Foxpaw were following him.
