ThornStar watched Darknettle walk away. He got to his paws and headed into his den. He had much to think about. He sighed softly as he thought over who would be deputy and what to do about the loners.


ShadeStorm/Tom/Warrior/Open

ShadeStorm was already up and moving. He had went out hunting and had caught a few mice, voles and a plump rabbit. Setting them on the pile he picked a sparrow for himself. He sat outside the Warrior's den and tucked right in. He purred softly as SheriFall's tail brushed his shoulder as she padded by.

SheriFall woke up and sat up. She gave her chest a few licks before stretching and shaking out her coat. She padded out of the Warrior's den, running her tail over Shadestorm's shoulder as she passed, smiling when she heard his purr. She picked up a mouse from the pile and sat off in a sunny corner, tucking right in.


Gingerflame/Tom/Warrior/Splashstrike

Gingerflame sat beside Splashstrike as they shared a fish together. Once finished they settled in, sharing tongues in the warm sun, close to the camp entrance.

Maple just smiled at the tom. "I'm Maple. You passed my den." She said to him. "I haven't seen another cat in a while and just wanted to say hi."

Raven padded out of his cave like den and stretched, his sharp claws digging into the soft dirt. He looked around and spotted a rabbit close by, nibbling on some alfalfa. He crouched low and stalked forward, stopping each time the rabbit looked up. He soon pounced, the rabbit giving a startled squeak before he sunk his fangs in. He carried his prey back to his den, tucking in to eat right outside it.

Stormkit sat at the entrance to the nursery, watching the clan wake up. He sighed softly, moving to lay in a small patch of sun close by. He curled up and smiled to himself as the sun warmed his tiny body.


Frozenpaw/She cat/Appreciate/Darknettle, Lilywhisker, Flutterpaw

Frozenpaw dropped back a bit, following behind the others. She hadn't wanted to upset Flutterpaw but she had. She noticed. She sighed. Maybe talking to others and making friends wasn't for her. She got lost in her own negative thoughts as she padded slower and slower.

Sage was up early and out hunting. She already caught a Robin but she wanted a few more just in case. She stopped and tasted the air for any sents. She smelled a mouse nest nearby and snuck up on it. She caught 3 nice and was happy with her catch. She brought her prey back to her little beach den and tucked into her robin.


RoseThorn/Tom/Loner/Jay

RoseThorn watched Jay from where he was sitting high above. "You know hunting in clan territory is dangerous." He mewed, jumping down in front of the other tom. "One of these days you're going to get caught and you'll only have yourself to blame."

Flutterpaw padded at his mentor's side, keeping his ears perked and scenting the air as they went. Even though they were on a patrol, it didn't mean he wasn't allowed to keep an eye out for his family as well.

Great Starclan, he wouldn't even care if they decided to become a hunting patrol, at this point he just wanted to get going. Any time outside the camp was a chance to teach his apprentice. He hummed softly as they padded along, waiting for a reply, or possibly a question from one - or both - of the apprentices. The tom glanced back noting Frozenpaw's position and sighed. "Get up here, Frozenpaw, I want to show you something." He mewed as he came to a stop.

It had been so many seasons ago but it burned her to the core. While she hoped her kit was still alive, she knew that he didn't have much of a chance if he was alone. Because while the tom was an amazing fighter the tom was a rather poor hunter. She was pretty sure his mentor and the clan leader at the time had taken pity on the tom and allowed him to become a warrior with his siblings. Hazeshade shook her head and huffed. "Someone really needs to help that poor tom find his parents. It's odd of them to just disappear in the middle of the night like that." She decided she wouldn't touch the Liontrot and Shrewcatcher problem with someone else's tail, and mentally moved on to the thought of deputy.

Hazeshade mewed, her tone both full of a mixture of emotions including but not limited to amusement and irritation. Truth be known, Hazeshade had always wanted to be deputy when she was younger. So she'd eagerly taken on an apprentice at a young age. That experience had curred her of that want, but she had continued to mentor apprentices. Many apprentices, most of which she saw as her own kits, and their kits as her grandkits.

indentationBeing suddenly accosted by some stranger was not something Jay was used to. The tom raised a whiskered eyebrow and gave a humming sound. "Really? I suppose that's true." Jay mewed, tone light. "Then I suppose then I'll just have to go and find someplace else to hunt in, that has a beauty, seasons that aren't too harsh, and bountiful prey." His tone shifted into a dry tone, leaking sarcasm along with a mixture of disbelief in it. "These clan cats don't dictate where I can and can't go. If they won't willingly share their bounty, then I'll just have to take what I need to survive." He retorted with a dry caustic edge. The tom huffed and glared black-furred tom then continued to pad away, tail lashing.
indentation The tom continued with his hunt, good mood has gone for the time being. bloody busybodies, always getting into other people's business. He thought with a sneer. He paused at the sound of a squirrel chittering, and let out a low hum. Slowly creeping forward the tom lowered himself to the ground and padded towards the source of the sound.

Could you imagine if Minkstreak had mentored either of us?" he asked, referring to the bossy she-cat they'd grown up around.
