Everyone’s pups are so adorable!

So today it was really nice out and I took Mazie outside and tried out the Bacon scented bubbles I bought a while back and she absolutely loved them! She kept barking until I blew more for her to chase and bite at. She’s such a goofy dog..

Hi! I enjoyed seeing everyone's dogs here in this chat so I decided to share my own dog :]

So, this is Cooper! He's my labrador lad and is turning 6 this month. He's a huge sweetheart and enjoys sleeping wherever he can (just be sure to not say "walk" or "food" or he'll go nuts  )

Depending on where you are I can recommend some standard breeders Dift! They’re mainly multis but UKC shown. One is Cosmic Caliber, another is So Fetch Poodles and Afghans (I personally have met and worked with all his dogs. he is moving back to Oklahoma though this week ). I have a few others I can get that he frequents at shows to help too !

Thanks eleu; it's a huge goal of mine to meet Jordan, which may happen if she's at a specialty show in the upcoming year. I've got quite a few breeders I'm following but I'll definitely check out So Fetch (it sounds familiar), OK isn't too far either. I'm mainly looking at parti breeders so that's actually perfect. If you find the time I would love any recommendations you have, but no rush :)

Right now though I have;
Cosmic Caliber
Crystal Creek
Trademark
Crossbrook
Semper Poodelis
and Barren Creek (hunting)

Mazie had fun with her new tunnel (and other new agility equipment) now she’s taking a nap XD
I can already tell it’s going to be a good season!

I have one cat

Fun fact I dont like any carbonated drinks.
Never ever stare at your self in the mirror in a dimly lit room for 10 minutes.
Another fun fact, I could pass on all the scary movies tbh

We had to take our dog to the vet yesterday. She hurt one of her back legs while in the backyard. The vet said it's what in a human would be a torn ACL. He said its common that this happens when the dog is using stairs, so it was likely the stairs on the back deck. We put up a ramp last year when we found out she has "a little arthritis", as the vet said), but she would not go on the ramp (even with one of us trying to carefully lead her down it on the leash). They told us there's a surgery that would fix the torn ligament. The thing is, with dogs her size, once they've torn one ACL, even after a surgery they are at risk of tearing the other (and it usually happens a year or less later). The vet said even with older dogs (she will be fifteen next month), they usually take to the surgery well, but the recovery time afterwards is harder on the older dogs. He gave us some pain meds for her, but she is not able to go out back right now due to the stairs. We have to take her out front on the leash and use a towel underneath her middle to help lift her back end over the single step in the garage. We've ordered one of those things made to go underneath a dog with handles on it (I don't know what it's called offhand), but it won't be here for a few days, so we have to use the towel until then.

I just love her so much and want to do what is best for her. The vet said full recovery time after the surgery is something around ten or eleven weeks. With her being the age she is, it's going to be even harder on her than it would be if she were younger. The vet said it's not a decision that has to be made immediately, plus he wouldn't even be able to schedule a surgery for her for at least another week or two anyway. I'm worried about how the surgery and recovery would be for her. Would it be too stressful for her? Are there other alternatives that we don't know of that would be easier on her?
Please do NOT send trades for my event tokens. I rarely trade tokens before I get all of the event items/pets that I want. When my tokens are for trade, I will put that in my trade posts on the trade threads. Thank you.

Hello!

Not a dog owner but expanding my family soon and wondering if anyone could offer some advice?

I want to rescue, and not shop.

I have a 900 sq ft apartment to myself, complete with access to a private dog park and grooming stations.
My complex limits by breed (DNA mandatory) and I am not allowed any pittie, rottie, or other large hound mixes (no matter how sweet the dog). The maximum weight per pet is also set at 50 lbs, so the pup would probably have to be relatively small. I love dogs of all sizes, so that's okay with me!

I know there is a lot of stigma to adoption of a dog into an apartment complex and I'm wondering what to expect as I have never gone through this process before. What can I expect as far as the process? Will they have DNA data available for me at the shelter? I would hate to adopt and have to say goodbye due to a DNA test. I will be purchasing all the fixings for proper care and have a lot of space, but would also like tips on creating the best environment and application.
v Help me with my hoard? ♡ v
