I'm not being rude, I'm disagreeing with you. Forgive me if sarcasm is forbidden, it adds to my arguments and is part of my personality.
The 'big bad wolf' is just a term applied to the villains in wolf stories. No, of course, I do not support having their jaws ripped apart, that's simply barbaric, but I do support protecting your livestock and family and livelihood. Wolves are opportunistic hunters. They will attack livestock because it is easier to kill sometimes, even when there is prey elsewhere.
Of course, the wolves didn't understand the worth of an animal to a human. But they still ate the cow-- hence, people would still see them as villains.
I'm still held up on your hypocrisy. Why is it that the dog and the wolf is 'just an illustration', but all other wolf stories are true tales that are solely there to make wolves evil? Please, answer this.
EDIT: Also, yes, wolves could do something like that to humans. Humans have been eaten alive by wolves before.
