Practicing front views

Postby No one » Fri Apr 02, 2021 8:56 am

So I decided to try a front view so I did a little tabby cat. Ya... as you can tell I’m not good with front view so I decided to do Purple drips. This is just practice, but feel free to give me pointers on front views.

Front views are hard!
How I started to do it is doing 3/4 views first, and then moving to front views. You can also use real animals for reference. It's all about symmetry.

It looks amazing though, I'm proud of you! /pos (positive intent)

I think it looks really good. The hair looks great, first of all, and I like what you did with the eye-lids, they shiny. :3
I have difficulty making that kind of stuff look right. ಠ_ಠ

I’m Kay, and I’m fascinated with animals. If you can swallow pills, you're cooler than me. When I lurk, it's to chat with my friend or perhaps contribute to the oekaki boards ;]

Thank you so much! I had to do my little shines on the eyes, no matter how weird they look. Front views for me are hard to get the proportions right so I feel ya there.
