How are you?” She heard one of the warriors call her and she said to Aspenleap, “Would it be good to leave my kits at camp when there a moon old?”

He didn’t mean to disrespect the clan, but he was really tired after staying up late last night patching up the dens. He sat down closer to the apprentice’s den and had his head low in guilt and his eyes filling up with tears. He blinked his eyes and looked at his paws.
He looks up and said, “It’s nothing.” He nodded his agreement and said, “I’m sorry I slept in late. I was up really late patching dens. I didn’t mean to miss the deputy ceremony and meeting. I’m the worst apprentice ever.”
