Option to exclude categories when viewing archives

Not sure what a good poll format would be since I do want to separate the Yeses like that... but here we go, I guess.

Taken from the official announcement thread for our shiny new archive completeness feature.

TL;DR

I like that we can see our completion progress per species and per artist; we definitely have a lot of people who are only aiming for or focusing on collecting certain species! But the flip side isn't covered: those who are collecting everything except XYZ.

Allow users to choose 1 or more groups (months/events/etc, species) to exclude when viewing archive completeness.

While I agree with the difference between UR and store pets, I’d also prefer it if the special releases weren’t a a part of a full collection since they are so difficult to get in contrast to other pets of the same year (of corse more so in never years than older ones, the entirety of 2008 would be hard to get regardless).

With the special releases included I doubt I’d ever get a full year complete as that would require more involved trading/effort to aquire. While I find the feature very good and useful as it is now, it’s still a bit disapointing to not be able to get the checkmarks for full years


Suggestion
- Option to not include special releases in the count for a full years collection.
- Alternatively another kind of checkmark for when everything is complete except special releases

Reasons
- Since those pets aren’t regular releases and are so such much harder to obtain.
- Some players (like me) don’t actively collect special releases /(don’t consider them part of a full collection [like me]) as they do regular pets, but would like to see the checkmarks years they’ve completed excluding special releases

This could actually be expanded upon: option to view completeness/counts excluding certain groups of pets. For example, I collect everything except spiders, so I've got a lot of older months that aren't marked as complete because I'm missing the spiders--only the spiders, but still missing pets.

This feature is already amazing and I'm very happy with how it is now! This is just kinda like an enhancement that's on my wishlist lol

HUGE support. i'm wanting to complete my 2019 collection onwards, but will never get that satisfying check mark since i won't be getting the special releases.

I really like the idea of allowing users to personalize the filters for their own definition of "completion."

The option to exclude things like events, species, URs, and artists sounds like it'd make this feature more useful for more people. There are so many ways to go about collecting on CS, after all, and they deserve just as much recognition n_n

support, there's artists I don't want to collect from preventing a full collection of cats and I don't want that to count against me

Yeet bump support especially for the URs/special releases. With my life getting busier and busier I may not be able to collect the URs every year and would still consider my collection complete otherwise.
