I did it, I finally did it.
Having beaten Sans multiple more times since my previous post, I wanted to set myself another challenge.
No hit Sans is something I don’t think I’m anywhere near practiced enough to even attempt yet, but after putting some thought to it, I had my sights set on no hit Jevil instead.

I’ve fought Jevil so many times now that I was barely using any healing items during the battle, so I knew that with some practice it would be possible. A couple hours of attempts later and I had beat him without healing, after that I had beat him while only being hit twice. The club attack after the first carousel was giving me a lot of trouble and killing a lot of my runs midway through, but the more I repeated it the more I got the hang of it. Even once I had passed that, the second carousel that can’t just be cheesed by sitting in the corner like the first would then take me out with its janky hit boxes, and if not that, the clubs shooting bullets surely would.
This afternoon however I had the lucky run, and once I got to the final chaos I knew I had it.
Doesn’t quite beat the feeling of winning against Sans for the first time, but still an amazing feeling of elation nonetheless.
Next I plan to pacify him without healing, as pacifying is a fair amount more difficult than just fighting due to the extra turns spent building TP. I think I need to give my mind a break first though, for the sake of my sanity lmao

It's a character in Waterfall! You rarely see them because you only need to use them if you have to backtrack following the Mad Dummy fight I'm pretty sure (and the bird who carries you over a disproportionately small gap isn't on your side)
