Aurora smiled as she nodded. Of course, the hero always wanted him by her side. She cared about him deeply so it only made sense. Plus, he was the first person she cared for and broke her out of her scared self. " I just never want to hurt you accidentally with my power. " She said, before looking at her hands. It would haunt her if he ended up getting hurt because her powers acted out. Of course, it wouldn't be her fault, but she felt like it would be if it did ever happen. The female nodded as she hoped so too. Trying to find a staff in the dark surely wouldn't be easy. Well, the sun was still out, they did have a chance to find it before the sky was engulfed in darkness. " Well, that's good. I want you two to get along instead of fighting. I'm sure Steve saw that you have changed from the first time he had met you. " She said.

Aurora looked at the large tree which wasn't something she saw every day. Escpilly a tree this so big. Watching Loki walked towards the tree, she was nervous. " Be careful. " She said, not wanting Loki to end up slipping. As she watched Loki climb, she hoped that he would return back down safely. Just watching him climb made her stomach hurt as she knew that he likely wouldn't survive the fall if he did slip. Once he came back down with the staff in his hands, Aurora felt so much better. Sure, her stomach hurt a bit, but it wasn't anything serious. It just was that her nerves had gone up when Loki started to climb. Taking the staff, the hero examined it. " It's beautiful. I have never seen a staff like this before ever. " She said.

" You're welcome. " Steve said as he squeezed her hand gently. He kept a hold of it, not wanting to let go anytime soon. " Hopefully we can go back home soon. I rather sleep on the bed than on the ground. " He said. Sleeping on the ground wasn't the most comfortable thing. Escpiily since it made his backache slightly. Oh man, he couldn't wait to return home instead of staying out here. Watching Loki, he was also nervous. " Be careful, Loki. We don't need you falling. " He said. Once he saw Loki had successfully grabbed the staff, Steve smiled with glee. Good. The god of mischief had retrieved the staff without falling.

Loki smiled as he reached her side once again safe and sound. “I know it looks quite enchanting doesn’t it. It also seems to have a sad message. It shows the story of how the two fell in love with each other, on the thing that’s supposed to destroy him. Isn’t that quite odd? I wonder why it’s that, as if the engraver knew loosing Freya would become his downfall...” He said as he began his way back to the stairs. The thought of why this could be the case plagued his mind as he walked down the stairs. Maybe he would figure it out someday soon when he faced Odr.

Soon he found himself back at the cave getting the campfire and other things ready. He brought out some leftover stew and heated it up for the group. He smiled as he was able to make everyone a portion once again. Seeing everyone back around the fire laughing and talking with each other made him feel much better. He talked happily with Aurora until it was time for bed. He headed into his tent with a smile on his face as he did so, they would be home soon and that’s all that matters.

Isabelle smiled as she took her bowl of food from Loki. She rested a hand on Steve’s knee as she spoke with the rest of the group happily. She felt amazing being back, even though her brain really didn’t feel as if she was gone for more than a minute. When night fell she frowned and followed Steve back into his tent. “Can I stay with you? I’m still a little creeped out by this place and I would feel more comfortable.” She said sweetly.

Aurora frowned as she looked at the staff again. Honestly, it was quite sad that the staff she was holding a staff that would destroy the god. " I wish there was a way we could convince him not to do this. It just makes me sad knowing that it tells a story, but one that the god will be killed. " She said. Where was he anyway? Once they were back at camp, the hero was quite happy she could rest. It had been a long day today and the previous day. Yawning, she was definitely tired from their little adventure. Aurora ate the stew quickly and then followed after Loki as she didn't want to sleep alone. Laying down in the tent, the female then closed her eyes as she fell asleep.

Steve ate rather quickly once they were back at camp. From not eating that much for the past two days, he was starving for food. Honestly, it felt so much better now and they were heading back home. Looking at Isabelle, Steve nodded as he smiled. Of course, he didn't mind her staying with him in the tent. " Of course. " He said before laying down.

“Well, maybe the fact that we have the staff will convince him to calm down. His mind may have retreated way to far back though so I don’t have high hopes. But we can always hope anyways right.” Loki told her as he kissed her cheek gently. Once they were in his tent together he covered the both of them with his blanket and wrapped his arms around her tightly. He kissed her gently and bade her goodnight as he snuggled up closer to her. He gently played with her hair until sleep finally overtook him.

Loki woke up the next morning with a smile on his face. It was the best sleep he had in quite some time as his love was safe in his arms. He laid there next to her with his arms around her as he didn’t want to wake her. She needed as much sleep as she could get for the long trek back home. Once she awoke he kissed her good morning and went out to make them some breakfast. “We’ll be back home and eating some different food once again soon I promise.” He told the group as he handed around the toast to the group. He leaned gently against Aurora as he ate quietly, doing his best to wake up without caffeine. Once they were all packed up once again, then began their trek back home.

Isabelle spent her night curled up against Steve’s chest with one arm around his torso. When she woke up she smiled as she saw Steve next to her. She gently kissed his chin before heading out to go eat some breakfast. Once he came out as well she placed her hand on top of his and smiled over at him. “Good morning,” she hummed as she ate her food happily. Soon, she found herself walking towards home with her hand in his. Everything was going to be just alright now.

Aurora nodded as he was certainly right. They could only hope that he would stop it, and they wouldn't have to destroy him. " I just hope it does. " She said. She wasn't going to bet the god would calm down once he saw the staff. It wasn't like she could read his actions or anything anyways. It was just to wait to see if he would give up. Smiling, the female kissed Loki back before snuggling against the taller male. Soon enough, she was out like a light as being with Loki made her feel safe.

It seemed that morning had rather came fast. Of course, Aurora hadn't woken up when Loki did just yet. From what happened yesterday, she was still slightly tired. Having something take over was sure exhausting even know she didn't do a thing. Opening her eyes, Aurora looked at Loki as she smiled. Kissing him on the lips, she smiled before sitting up. " Morning, Handsome. " She said, before eating as she was happy to be with Loki. Also, she was happy to head back home with him. However, she wanted him to stay with them. The hero didn't want Loki to leave and then she would be alone. " You will stay with me once we get right back? " She asked, wondering if he would head back to his own planet.

Steve had snored throughout the night as it was common for him anyways. Groaning softly, Cap opened his eyes to see Isabella was already awake. Smiling, he kissed the female back as he followed after her, holding her hand as she did. " I'm so glad we get to head back home. It's what we definitely do need. In a nice and warm place. " He said quite excited.

Loki smiled down at the female, he would visit his home once in a while but he didn’t have any reason to leave her side. Besides, he didn’t want to leave her in the first place. “Well, I may take trips back every once in a while, but nothing there is worth leaving my love for.” He answered as he bent down to kiss her cheek. “Now come in let’s head back out to making our way back to the portal. If you get tired I’ll carry you darling.” He told her as he got up and stretched his limbs out. All the way home he had an arm around her the whole time.

Loki found himself back in front of the portal after a couple of days. “Well, time to go back through and find the god shall we?” He mused before he walked through it with them. He smiled as he found them all back in the Avengers tower safe and sound. “Well, where do you all think that we should start?” He questioned the group as they sat down at one of the discussion tables. He knew they would probably turn to him for guessing and he truly didn’t know where the god would be. He pulled up the map of the bombings Isabelle had found earlier and looked at it. “Does anyone see a pattern in there?” He questioned as he stared into the picture slightly.

Isabelle smiled as she found herself back in the tower safely. She pulled Steve into a tight hug, thanking the heavens that he had gotten through all of it safely. They only had one more big battle with the god and then everything would be alright she said trying to solve her anxiety. She hummed as she observed the destruction patterns with a frown on her face. “Maybe... They sort of look like they’re in the shape of a lily... That could just be me though I’m not sure.” She answered tilting her head to the side as she spoke.

Aurora looked back up at him as she smiled. Gently squeezing his hand, she leaned against Loki. " Can I come too? I want to see more of your home? " She asked. Again, the hero thought it was beautiful. It was definitely different than what she was used to, but she wouldn't mind spending a whole day there. How big was Loki's home anyways? Would it take more than a couple of days for her to see his planet? " I will always be by your side, Loki. " She said. Heck, the hero would even risk her life for Loki, but she wasn't going to tell him. Instead, she would just keep it to herself until she felt like telling him. " Alright. I will let you know them. " Aurora said. The hero was just fine so she didn't need to be carried really at all, but it didn't hurt for her lover to carry her home.

Aurora nodded as she smiled. Oh, she wanted to go home so bad as it would be nice to see it once again. Sitting down, Aurora shrugged as she wasn't sure. " Where are the most people at? I think he would go for where there's a large group of people. " SHe suggested. Leaning back in her seat, Aurora looked at the others as she wondered what they thought about it.

Steve smiled as he wrapped his arms around Isabelle again, not wanting to let go. They were safe her of course, but he just wanted to hold on to her for a couple of more minutes. " I love you. " He said, giving her a kiss. His attention then turned to Loki as he thought about it. " Maybe we can found him at some field. Once that may grow LIly. " He said.

Loki sighed, he didn’t know of any sort of garden Odr would be at. Then it hit him, there was a large botanical garden in downtown New York that was known for their large lillies. “The Botanical Garden in New York is quite large and has a large field with Lillies inside of them... They’re pretty much known for how many Lillies they’ve planted and how large they are. I think that is our best bet of where to find him. We’re running out of time let’s get down there!” He exclaimed after thinking it over fully for a moment. He grabbed onto Aurora’s wrist and pulled her down to Isabelle’s car. “Drive there now.” He told her as he got in the back alongside his love. “Oh and about what you said earlier, yes of course you can come with me. I’ll take you on a tour and show you the most wonderful things there. I’ll even take you around the castle, as it is my home.” He told her as he wrapped an arm around her shoulder and pulled her close. “Isabelle you still have the jewel right? And Aurora the staff?” He questioned them as they got closer to their final battle with the god. He hadn’t fought another god except for His brother, but that wasn’t the same as this fight would be. Unless of course the god surrendered, but he wasn’t too sure that was going to happen. He wouldn’t be too upset with killing the god, but he knew Aurora would be so that’s why he hoped Odr would be smart about it.

Isabelle smiled and kissed Steve back happily. “I love you too my darling,” She said as she wrapped her arms around him as well. In his arms felt like the safest place that she could ever be. She leaned her head on Steve’s shoulder as she listed for the others speak. “That’s a great idea good job Loki!” She exclaimed as she grabbed her keys out of her pocket. She hurried down the stairs after the two and jumped into her car and took off as soon as everyone was buckled up. She didn’t know what to expect with this battle with the god so she was quite nervous. She tapped her fingers against the steering wheel as she drove to make herself feel better. “After this I need to go on a vacation.” She joked as she made a right turn. “Yes I still have if, right here in my pocket.” She answered as she turned into the parking lot of the Garden. Once she got out she handed the jewel to Loki so he could put the two together in order to defeat the god.

Aurora nodded as she agreed with Loki. This was her chance to reason with the god not to harm earth, but again, she wasn't going to assume that it would work. All she could do was reason with him, that was it. " Sounds good. Hopefully this will be my chance to reason with him. " She said, with a bit of determinant in her voice. Before she could say another word, the hero felt Loki pull her along and into Isabelle's car. Once she was inside, she moved over so Loki would be able to fit in as well. This was new. Taking a car to the where the god was wasn't a thing she did every day, or had done that was. Gently grabbing Loki's hand, the female squeezed it as she was quite nervous. This was the biggest mission she had ever done, and it certainly could go wrong really quick. However, there were all five of them so it shouldn't be that hard, but then again, you never know. A god certainly wasn't that easy to beat as they did have strong powers.

Smiling, Aurora nodded as glee as she was definitely looking forward to come with Loki to his home. It sounded fun, and on the other hand, she would be able to spend time with the god of Mischief. Just the two of them that was as she knew Steve would likely stay back so he could keep a eye on Isabelle. It did seem that he did let off his protective side of Aurora, but cap did still care about the girl. " I would love that, Loki. It sounds wonderful. " She said, as she leaned against him, the side of her head resting on his shoulder. Looking over to her left side, the staff was certainly there. " Yep. " She said. Good. They had what they needed. If they didn't then it likely wouldn't go to well at all. How else were they going to beat him without the staff and jewel? The staff would destroy him so it was something they did need to make sure they had.

Steve smiled as he followed after Isabella. " Well, this it. Hopefully we can put a end to this. " He said, as he held the female close. Once they arrived at her car, he went over on the other side so he could sit in the passenger side. Sure there would be roam in the back, but he wanted the two too have their own space. Plus, he wanted to be next to Isabelle as he did care deeply about her. Listening to what Loki said, Steve nodded in agreement.

Chuckling softy, Steve needed it too, but he knew that he still had to make sure New York was safe. Being a avenger, that was his job too do. Letting this people down would make Steve feel so bad. " I wish I could do, but these people need me here. " He said. As Isabelle drove to the location, Steve looked out the window. Everything seemed like a blur as they were moving pretty fast. Winding the window down a little bit, he felt the fresh air. Ah, it felt so good. Once they arrived, Steve also got up and looked at the others as he waited for them to move out. " This is it guys. Lets show this God that messing with us is definitely a bad idea. " He said.

Aurora got out also before grinning at Steve words. " You got that right. " She said, as bits of sparks came from her hands. She had her blaster too, but it likely wouldn't effect the god that much if they did have to fight him.

Loki smiled, he was glad that Aurora wanted to come with him. The. he would plan something special to ask her to actually be his girlfriend at his favorite place there. “We’re going to have such a great time I promise you that. There’s many beautiful things there and your truly going to fall in love with the city I can promise you that.” He told her as he rubbed his thumb over her hand. He could tell she was nervous, and who was he kidding so was he. Alas, he wanted to put his brave face on for her as he was a god himself and it wasn’t like he hadn’t dealt with one before. Not like how he was going to obviously, but still he had more experience than she did. “Wonderful, now let’s try to call him down first... But if not then I will deal with him myself okay. You guys just try and distract him while I get the staff to work okay.” He advised as he took the staff and the jewel from the two females. “Be safe everyone, and be smart no matter what happens.” He said as he started to put the staff together.

He calmly walked around, searching for the god and telling everyone else to leave the area. He didn’t want any of the pedestrians to get hurt, some were resilient but in the end the area was clear. “Now where are those Lilies?” He asked the others as he scanned the area for any sign of the god, particularly large footprints or signs of disruption. He followed as Isabelle motioned for them to head in a different direction, she seemed to know where she was going. He listened and watched carefully to spot the god, hoping they weren’t wrong about his whereabouts. Finally, his anxieties about being wrong were quenched upon seeing the massive god in the distance. He yelled out to the god and held a protective arm over Aurora as she began to speak to him. He prayed to the heavens that the god would be scared enough to back down, but by the look on his face it wasn’t seeming too likely at the moment.

Isabelle nodded, they were in a job that vacations weren’t very common as many did need help. “I know I know... I just wish that there wasn’t so much trouble in the world.” She said frowning as she spoke. The rate of crime and super villains were rising, and joe there was evil gods? The world would be quite lost without the group, so there would possibly be no breaks for her. All she could do was hope it would be in a warm place next time, like California or on the beaches of Florida. She smiled softly at that thought as she felt the wind blow through her hair. Everything was going to be just fine in the end, as long as they stuck together.

“Yes, we shall.” Isabelle replied as she watched the staff be assembled. It flowed a bright blue once it was locked in place, very interesting. “Aurora I pray that your words do bring some light into the gods messed up mind, but if it doesn’t we have a plan okay. Distract the god, you got it. I’m great at causing distractions.” She said giggling softly as she spoke. She kissed Steve deeply before motioning the group to follow her. “They’re over here...” She said as she briskly walked through the rows of other flowers and butterflies and over to the many fields of Lilies. She looked up at the god, biting down on her lip as she observed him. He seemed larger than the last time she encountered him, which frightened her a bit more. She hoped the staff would work either way, or else they would have a big issue on their hands. Possibly bigger than just the five of them could handle.
