Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?: I personally love helping others, and I think due to my 7 years of extensive knowledge I would be very suitable for the adopter role. I can assist in trades, rules, and getting to know the site! Please note: I was assigned to a newbie, but they have not responded to me, and it's been around nine days. It also appears that they've been inactive since January.
How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?: I go on CS everyday, and am usually active for 3-5 hours daily.
Did you read and understand all of the Adopter information?: Yes
Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?: Yes!

How did you find Chicken Smoothie?: Someone on Flight Rising mentioned it to me! I technically made this account in 2018, but I only used it for a couple of days. I found CS again around week ago and restarted, and I'm starting to realize that I have very little idea what's going on TT
What do you like best so far?: Trading! And honestly how nice and helpful everyone is even though I'm pretty clueless about pet and item values and keep asking questions.

Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?: I feel I'm ready to help another Newbie because I've always done my best to answer any questions they may have and I'm always kind, friendly, and patient towards most anyone.
How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?: I'm on CS daily usually 1-2 hours and can be more active during the weekends.

Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?: I see myself as a kind, openminded and helpful person overall. I like helping people out because I know I for sure needed that when I first joined CS (I just didn't get any help, sadly)
How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?: I am online every day, for hours on end - but I'd say around 3-6 hours.
Did you read and understand all of the Adopter information?: Yes, I believe I do. Please let me know if I have missed anything
Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?: Yes, I do! I don't believe in being mean towards people, it creates bad karma and nobody needs that in their life.

Fouff..., yep...! I sometimes answer Questions/Threads on the 'Help, Questions & Problems' Sub-Forum, here is a recent one for example..., + 1 more, and here also...
+ By PM (sometimes) or when I react to a Trade (more often) if I notice the Player joined CS recently and they could improve "something" if they want to be more "successful" when sending Trades..., or I warn them if the Trade is actually Unfair to them, and I regularly gift new Players my extra Pets to get them "started" a bit quicker...

Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?:
Well, "allowed" sounds a bit strange, I'm offering to help Newbies, I was a Newbie also myself "once", and I was very happy to get some Help from some very nice Players at that time, now I'm quite knowledgeable with the Game/Site, I think, (except 'Oekaki' that I don't use), so I don't mind helping new Players getting around with the whole Game/Site a bit "quicker" than if they have to discover everything by themselves...
(I'm also a Mod and Technical Helper on some Technical Forum... (for a Programming Language).)

How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?:
Absolutely every day Online (since I joined CS, during the 'Halloween' Event in 2014 that hooked me to CS, ah-ah...!), and several hours a day, especially around the Opening Times for the 'Pound' and the 'Lost and Found'. (And much more during (Banner) Events of course...)
And I keep about 50 Tabs open on CS in a dedicated Browser Profile (Firefox) that I mostly use only for CS.

Not mentioned in the 'Adopter FAQ', I was wondering if the Thread-Mod sending the PM to an Adopter would mention if "we" have to send the 1st PM to the paired Newbie in English or some other Language, but I found the Answer in one of the 'Thread-Mod Copy-Pastes' Forms, (the 'Messaging adopters' Template), and Yep you do, good...!
(You have a Typo btw in the 'Adopter FAQ': "You also [my] not be on the list because we have not updated yet." => "my" = "may/might"... + Several times using "its" instead of "it's"... but OK, no big deal on that one...)

Yep of course, or I wouldn't be willing/offering to help some new Player(s), ah-ah...!

Hum, I've been declined... Eh beh..., alright, OK, fair enough..., I was just trying to help...

My PM-Inbox remains Open if "you" (Thread-Mods) ever need an extra Adopter or for anybody needing Help with the Site... (except 'Oekaki' and 'Role-Play' that I don't use)...

And one mini-Advice for all Newbies, as it is a "Mistake" you/we all make:
Before starting to send Trades, already start to add Pets to your WL (Wishlist), but start with Pets that you can "realistically" get, => from the recent Years (2021 => 2020 => 2019 => etc...), don't start with (only) 2008 and 2009 with only OMGSR (Oh-My-God-So-Rare) and VR (Very-Rare) Pets that you will never get in a Trade a few Day/Weeks after just joining the Game...

The pet collecting aspect intrigues me. Most (if not all) of the sites I've played on before had a limit on the number of pets you could have. I'm also interested in posting art here eventually, but I don't have a tablet yet.
