Don't know much about Norse mythology, but I do think that stuff like that in general is super interesting so agree I guess.
"Oversimplified" logos aren't even bad and people are mad at them for nothing. Sure they may be "lazier" but you can at least admit they still look good. I don't get why everyone hates them. I actually quite like them.

kinda agree! i think a lot of the time it's that the new logo
doesn't actually fit the vibe of what it's trying to represent, and
sometimes logos get simplified just for the sake of doing it/to be
more 'modern' rather than actually reflect the company. (case in
point: arby's...) but there are cases when it does look good and
fit better than the previous one!
being too cold > being too hot
life upon life, connecting dots and lines / if you fill in the oddly-shaped
white space with a special song, everything will go like you planned
