Heads turn upon Jaro's arrival as each cat immediately takes in her unique appearance. She is bubbly and friendly, gently nudging Clan cats and outsiders alike with her shoulder as she passes, and giving any cat who will listen a fun fact about an animal they've never heard of. When she approaches you, her eyes are bright, and she offers you a warm smile. When she speaks, she does so with an accent that you've never heard from another cat before, and you wonder where she might be native to.

Jaro has the CAC-exclusive okapi mutation, characterized by the letters "OkOk/Okok." This dominant mutation causes unique striping to occur on the back legs and face in a very light version of the fur's base color. The mutation can occur on any color or pattern of cat, but the cat must be shorthaired (LL) for it to be expressed. If the cat is not shorthaired but has "OkOk" or "Okok" in its genotype, the cat is a carrier of the okapi mutation and may pass it to kits. If it is "okok," the cat is not a carrier and will not express or pass the mutation.

WHAT'S THE MOST "ADVENTUROUS" THING THAT'S HAPPENED TO THEM? back before craneheart joined puddleclan, when he was still just crane, he and his best friend, bittersap (then just bitter) decided they were going to travel to the city. the journey over the bridge was exhausting for the young felines, being one of the first hardships they would face on their travel. once they reached the city they spent the majority of time running from twolegs and looking for food (which was much harder to come by then they thought it would be). after a few days of constant scrounging and running the two finally made their way back to the island, thoroughly exhausting by their journey. this would be craneheart's first and only adventure, being much more content with staying on the island then venturing off.

It isn’t anything much too “grand”: the Tom had been alongside his mate on a solo patrol through the mountains one day, the two believing the rare warmth of the night would make the trek easier. They however found themselves fleeing down one side of the mountain after a small snow collapse, the ground shifting beneath their paws. Sootnose had been thankful to spot a hidden ground cave and had dragged his mate down the crevice before they could be buried in the piles of loose snow fall. They emerged some time later and were met with the sight of a new bank of snow, sparkling with the light of the stars. Determined to turn the supposed “romantic” trek around, Oakdawn had suggested the two create shapes from the bundles of snow.
