I haven't been on AJ in a few months, and haven't been active for years. I actually wanted to possibly get back into it, and when I did log in awhile ago I had lost a few black longs, my white beta tail, and all my other spikes I had stored up. I don't think any of my den items were touched, but that turned me away from the game. My roommate lost her collection of headdresses as well. You guys are talking about a hacking incident, so I'm curious. What exactly happened?

The AJ servers were hacked and hackers started selling ppl's items. AJHQ caught onto it and reset everyone's passwords to hopefully stop it before it was too late

wow i have not been active on Animal Jam in... what, 3 years? 4 maybe?
I've scrolled through a bit of this and heard about the hacking, so i popped onto my old accounts on pc animal jam (i think it's called classic now?) didn't find anything missing, though i didn't have much of value in the first place. is play wild the more popular one now? idk what the deal is with it, I don't know if it's exclusively mobile anymore

I used to be an active player right up until the service was breached and my email/info was hit by it. They sent out an email to change passwords & when I clicked the link to reset my password, it said I'd been permanently banned. Have messaged the HQ twice in a span of two weeks to each other, but had no reply.

i know that this was from feburary but gosh, i know right!? i still pop on every 6 months or so just to see whats goin' on as all of my childhood memories are on aj but now i've grown up i definitely dont have the same attention span for it anymore aha. its hard to believe that i was once that kid who used to spend hours and hours trying to get that darn black spike

* one thing i will say is though, its a lilllll annoying that you can't trade stuff from different accounts if you're a non member...i know it's probably out of their control and might not be possible but i have some stuff on a back up account id like to trade to my main but i can't because you can't have more than one window open bit of a bummer but i dont wanna buy a membership so aha what can ya do
