Jokingly told Kassandra his words didn't mean much because he knew she'd take a seat regardless. Noted Nagini hiding in the shadows and shot her a look that silently said something along the lines of, "I really don't want to be here either, don't worry." Fell quiet after that and is just observing for a bit.

Alex's gaze shifted towards the flicker of motion in the corner of her eye. Emma, waving her over. She pointed at herself, looking around, but the others were all clumped together a little away. So she stood and walked over. "Hey...what’s going on? Is everything okay?" It could just be wishing to hang out during the party, but looking between the two other girls, Alex figured something wasn’t quite right, and Alex being Alex, she wanted to help fix it!

"Equally true," Kass agreed with an amused smile. She flicked a strand of black hair back over her shoulder. She wouldn’t have left even if they’d disagreed, not when it looked like...something was going on, and she was curious. "You two aren’t going to come join the game?" She asked. "A bunch of them are gathering for truth-or-dare over there."

Newt's gaze shifted towards the gathered group. A flickering, fleeting smile crossed his face, then disappeared. "I get'cha. Nobody said you have to play." He turned his attention to the matter of the Maze after that, his expression growing more serious. "The wall didn’t move? If somethin's blocking that wall, might be worth it to figure out what that is." He narrowed his eyes. That could either open a new pathway for them, or be a very, very bad thing. "Our bad luck can’t last forever. There’s a way out, there HAS to be."

curling her hair against her finger slowly, she leaned back into the males chest with comfort and ease. laying against the latter was calming her down quite a bit, feeling his chest fall up and down with his breathing. she loved it. she hated to admit how much she adored being against the latter - she always felt so safe when she was with him. especially when she was in his arms.

as lees hand fell away, she quickly pulled both of his arms against her stomach and waist once more, turning around slightly and offering an immature smirk. "keep your hands where they are." she said gently, her head leaning against the latters shoulder. he was much taller than the girl- she was easily just situated on him comfortably. she loved it. he was perfect, man.

"youre seriously perfect." she whispered under her breath, trying to purposely keep it only so he could hear.

shifting herself against lee slightly, she gave a sweet smile towards the two. "wanna go jump in the freezing cold lake?" she giggled, her smirk growing against her lips. seeing karter and yvonne jumping into the lake would- maybe be kind of fun. maybe.

khalil was always super slow to get to things unless they were emergencies, and even if he really wanted to go somewhere man was he slow. it wasnt like he disliked any personal interaction, and it wasnt like he purposely tried to avoid everyone, but he wastnt he fastest. waddling out of the medjack hut he was hanging out in, he finally made himself towards the bonfire.

he wasted no time to get a drink of the alcohol they had set up, he took a few sips before turning to the group and crossing his arms against his chest. he didnt know if he was okay to jump into any conversation, jump into the game, or what. but he obviously had missed a little.

Karter hesitated, freezing where he was at the dare to...jump in a lake. Karter shrank into his hoodie. "If that’s your dare for me, I’m not afraid of it, I’ll do it," he promised. "But I’m just gonna say right now, I can't swim. At all." He frowned and lightly punched his own bicep. "Stupid muscles don’t work right." He hated admitting to that part. He was a Runner! He was supposed to be one of the best, but running was different than swimming. It took different muscles.

the girl frowned as emma sunk down next to her with her soft 'romi' sound. it was so sweet, the girls voice was always like music to her ears, it was part of the reason why she liked to talk to her so much. romi sighed and shrugged slightly, then shook her head and sat up a bit more. she looked to emma, then up to alex who was upside down to her when she looked, which got a small giggle out of her. "hey alex," romi said softly, then turned back to emma. "ill be fine. guess im just a bit lovesick myself."

hani looked around as the chaos ensued, smiling slightly as he caught a bit of idunns face in his sight. after the kiss and everything, it all seemed tense. how could they break it? "hey.. um. girl," hani started as his smile disappeared. he tapped on idunns shoulder gently to get her attention so he wasnt just saying girl. and when he really looked at her, she was kinda pretty... she had some unique features and an... interestingly cute nose. he smiled again. "i have an idea-" he started, "-we're friends right? you and me? we can be friends?"

"YES!" shouted yvonne as lee went in for the kiss. "muahaha," she mumbled, hopping around the campfire energetically. though she was normally quite a quiet one, games and events like this brought out the wild side in her. "me now, pick me!" she raised her hand and stopped behind lee and dante after making a full circle, jumping up and down while her little space buns jiggled simultaneously. she was eager to play, excited to see what lee or dante would make her do.

"Lovesick, huh?" Alex's lips curved up in the start of a smile. "Unfortunately we can’t fix that, but do you want to talk about it a bit? You know, get it off your chest?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. She extended her hand to the other Med-Jack, a warm sparkle flickering across her gaze.

"Well," Emersyn spoke slowly, training her eyes on the hungry, auburn-coloured flames. "That's the hope." The fire was mad. Its anger, its disparity, it reminded Emersyn a lot of the atmosphere that the Gladers lived within. Hopelessly clawing at the walls with no sense of direction, meaning, or anything in between. Admittedly, Emersyn was far on that side; she'd given up a long time ago. Newt's words seemed distant. As much as she wanted to, she couldn't seem to hold onto the positivity for more than two seconds.

"We'll see," she said simply. Her tone wasn't clipped, though it certainly lacked the hope Newt's own carried. She pressed her lips together, then allowed her gaze to drift back over to him, studying him. "You sure have a way of keeping positive."

"That’s my job," Newt pointed out. He’d given up hope a long, long time ago, he tried daily to tell himself things would get better. Things would be okay, they’d find their way out, but when even the Runners seemed to be losing hope, he just had to put on a mask of hope. "People tend to follow a leader's example. Since I’m the leader...I have to at least pretend until we find something one way or another."

Draco tipped his head, as if silently proving his point, then nestled back into his spot. He fell into neutral position, resting his forearms against his thighs before propping an elbow against his knee so that he could comfortably rest his head in the palm of his hand. "That's funny," he drawled, without a hint of laughter in his voice. "I don't do games. Especially not one like this. God knows what they'd get me into." He glanced at Kassandra, then let his eyes snake over to Alastair. "Oh, but Alastair is playing," he continued, almost in a sugar-sweet tone, like a child innocently calling out a mistake made by another. "And I'm sure he'd love if you took him over there, Kassandra. Can't be living within the safer angle forever."

His eyes flitted back to the fire, watching as Dante screamed something to do with water. He hadn't a clue who she was talking to, if anyone at all, but the increased noise was giving him a headache. However, despite the headache, he was curious to see whether or not the Greenie would jump in on something or not. Playing a game like this said a lot about a person.

Kassandra was silent for a long moment, then just nodded, smiling from the corner of her lip as she rose to her feet again. "Can’t say I’m in the same boat. It’s always interesting to see what comes up in games such as these." She glanced towards Alistair and raised an eyebrow, that smile growing just slightly. "So, playing, hmmmm? Come then, let’s go join the group before we miss all the fun!"
