the babies of the species are called "small fries" and the species as a whole is semi aquatic . They generally live in the north east of North America but depending on their fish companion they can live in more tropical or arctic areas . the sac on their neck is used to store food in the even that prey is scarce . They are carnivorous and prey and any mammal or fish smaller than them . They average at 3ft long and about 12lbs, but depending on their breeding and fish they can be much larger or much smaller .
