There have been other records too, a drunken man climbed into a panda's enclosure, and tried to "cuddle" the bear (I believe the bear retaliated), but did not greatly injure the man, then, another person jumped in "out of curiosity" and also got bitten. Another person (a fifteen year old teenager) climbed into the same bears to retrieve a child's toy that had fallen in the enclosure during feeding time. I suppose the bear was frightened and was also dominant over it's meal, and attacked the boy, the boy had large chunks of his leg torn off of him, the bone was visible.
Because they are "cute", most people have much less respect for them, which is why they under-estimate their strength, and think it is fine to intrude into the bears house.
After all, they are still bears.

Of course it was, most animals only attack out of defence, especially when cornered.
I was just stating the fact that panda's have attacked in different ways, not just defending cubs or family, just like I have said about wolves, who can attack out of dominance, hunger, rabies, and fear. I try not to be bias.

I don't mind any of what you said, besides this.
They are not the most misunderstood animal on this planet, at all. Sharks are much more misunderstood, and you could find many more 'misunderstood' animals if you tried.
Because... If kids were taught that they eat children and kill everything, or whatever, then how to those children grow to love them later on? I've never met someone that said they were scared of wolves. Bears and sharks, however...
Don't forget pitbulls.
I love wolves,I always have and always will. It's not because they're cool.I just love wolves/dogs.
Will Trade...

Wild animals greenwolf1998, not domesticated ones such as dogs, even though Pitbulls are misunderstood in some aspects.
