Daniel skidded to a stop. He may be a villain, but that didn't mean he wouldn't help people up when he accidentally pushed them over. Or at least he would help them when he was in a good mood, which he was. "Sorry," He mumbled, holding a hand out to help the stranger up. His wings, which splayed out when he ran, folded back across his back now that he had stopped. He had put on his rugged pair of red sneakers, which were better for running as the others made an annoying squeak when you went too fast.

Dazed for a little bit, Peter looked up to see Daniel. Wait.. it was the same guy he had met before. Luckily, he didn't know Peter was actually Spiderman. After a couple of seconds, Peter sat up before grabbing Daniel's hand. " It's fine. Anyways, I'm Peter. Who are you? " He asked, wanting to know who the stranger was.

"Oh... Uh..." Daniel was pondering whether to use his real name or not. Oh well, it's not like this 'Peter' guy was some kind of Hero (Oh, the irony). He helped him up. "I'm Daniel... Nice to meet you," He nodded. He didn't have all day, but it had been a while since he had talked to someone who seemed this pleasant. "Where are you headed?" he asked, trying to keep his slightly annoying accent out of his voice.

Peter smiled as he nodded. " It's nice to meet you. I'm going to get some coffee. Care to join me? " He asked. Of course, if Daniel didn't like coffee, there was other stuff he could get. Like hot cocoa or even tea.

"Sure," Daniel said, pulling his hood over his head, then slipping his hands in his hoodie pockets. His wings rustled nervously, something about this situation didn't feel right, like there was something he didn't know that he needed to know, but he ignored it, always being suspicious of others is what made him not have any friends, and he wanted one. Daniel played with a small figurine of his as he waited for Peter to lead the way.

Peter smiled when Daniel accepted the offer. " Sounds good. I can pay for both of ours then. " He said. It was the decent thing to do when he invited the male to come with him. Then he wondered if Daniel was also hungry. They had muffins, pastries, sandwiches, etc. " Are you also hungry? Their muffins are so good you will want a second one. " He said. Usually, Peter ordered two so he had an extra muffin he could eat later on.

"No thanks, I'll pay for mine," Daniel insisted. He took his hand out of his hoodie pocket and rustled in his pant's pocket, then pulled out a crisp, almost new 20 dollar bill. He handed it to Peter. "Keep the Change, I'd love a muffin, Thanks," The bird mutant hadn't eaten in a day or two, and was starving, but he didn't like to show weakness to anyone. Ever. He had shown to one person once, and they had gone and turned on him, and since then, he would never show need or any kind of weakness if he could help it.

Peter took the money as he was unsure if he should keep it. It wasn't that expensive for two coffees and two muffins. However, he didn't say anything but just smiled as he put the money in his pocket. " Thanks. Well, we should start walking then. It isn't too far from here. " He said, as he started to walk. The hero was hungry so he couldn't wait to at least get something in his stomach even if it wasn't that big. However, he had to be careful when he did go in his backpack as he didn't want the other male to see the suit. If he did, then his identity would certainly be known. Peter prefers to not have others know who he is.

Daniel stayed still for a second before jumping around, his wings flapping to give him a boots to keep up, and followed his acquaintance. He shuffle around in his pockets for a second, feeling for any extra small bills. He didn't find anything else, and found out he only had a few hundreds, nothing smaller that normal companies would usually accept. He almost groaned, normally he would have to find someone with enough money on hand to exchange with, and that was a huge pain. He took his hand out of his pant pocket and put it back in his hoodie pocket as he kept following Peter.

Soon enough, Peter was at the coffee shop. He opened the door as he allowed Daniel to go in first. You could already smell the fresh-baked muffins and the freshly roasted coffee. They made everything fresh each day so you weren't going to eat stale food. No wonder why it was so popular.
