Morgan specializes in dark energy and magic revolving around transfering life
force. Her unique ability is that upon touching people she can absorb their
life force causing their body to decay. The decay spreads from the place she
touches and can be lethal if it lasts long enough. When she absorbs someone's
life force she temporarily looks about 10 years younger, but the effect doesn't
last very long. The longer she uses her powers the longer it lasts and the more
visible it is. She teaches curses and hexes and focuses on dealing with demons.
Morgan Adeline Wynerva is one of the oldest and most
powerful witches in the Westray coven, having been
born in 1822. She became a High Council witch and
gained immortality not long after the American Civil
War. Morgan didn't always use to be the intimidating
and power-hungry woman she is now. When she was
younger she was a very passionate and ambitious girl
who was taken under Althea's wing after her mother
died after her dark magic backfired. Like her mother,
she has a knack for dealing with demonic entities.
Two hundred years of life and insurmountable grief
changed her. After a while, Morgan learned not to get
too close to anyone. You could say that's the dark side
of immortality. Morgan is unable to have children, so
she made a deal with demons to give her a daughter.
Unfortunately, dealing with demons always comes at
a price. She had twin daughters Isadora and Niamh,
but when the girls were seven years old the demons
Morgan made the deal with took Niamh away from
her and supposedly killed her. Morgan used magic to
repress all of Isadora's memories of her sister. She is
overly protective of Isadora and keeps her isolated
from the coven. On some level, she can't help but
resent the girl because every time she looks at her
she's reminded of her failure as a mother. She thinks
she's Althea's rightful successor and wants her power.
