It all began with Terralon. She was a little rebel, and with good reason. The FangNights had taken over, with enough of a police force to keep the people in check. Terralon was their top wanted criminal. She stole from them, she fought their police force, she was organizing a secret army to fight them, and she freed 'undesirables' from their killing camps. The crown of leaves on her forehead marked her as leadeer of the underground, and it was something she flaunted, making no attempt to blend in.
Daemon was one of those rescued.
Branded 'weak' because of an injury to his foreleg, Deamon was rescued from death by the brave warrior Terralon. But he was tired of running and hiding, he wanted to stick with her and help her. She did not want him tagging along, she generally worked solo. He proved his skills with a bow and arrow, saving her life, and she reluctantly allowed him to travel with her.
Terralon hated Gryphon on sight. He wore the fang necklace of the FangNight's police. She fought and defeated him, and he swore to join her if she spared his life- he'd had it with the FangNights as well. She did, and Gryphon became a valuable member of not only the underground, but of the new threesome.
Terralon: clever, brave, and tough. Gryphon: feirce, strong, and sacraficing. Daemon: loyal, crafty, and careful. The three warriors of the clover. The team tattooed the mark on their shoulders to show who they were- a team of three, united.
Then, the unthinkable happened- they were driven from the world into the unknown, where they made a shocking discovery: There were other dogs unlike themselves! Leading these new dogs back towards the homeworld, they meet Daisy.

A dainty, delicate sort of dog, Daisy quickly proves she can be tough when she has to be as she fights off three police dogs through sheer craftiness and saves Gryphon's life, earning herself the approval of the clover- as well as Daemon's affections.
Seeing Gryphon wounded, Terralon comes to realize what he means to her. As the new dogs help the underground defeat the police, the warriors of the clover- and Daisy, though the others wish to leave behind for her safety- must take on the leaders of the FangNights themselves!

Erm... not sure where I'm going with this. Definate Terralon/Gryphon and Daisy/Daemon though. I kinda picture Daisy with a southern accent :3

{{ I walked across an empty land, I knew the pathway like the back of my hand. }}

The young boy walked down the worn dirt foot-trail, passing everything he knew to be familiar. The hollow stump, the random patch of wildflowers, the faint glimmers of sunshine trying to break through the canopy of leaves above his head...it was the same as it always had been. He had walked this path through the forest so many times, he knew it better then he knew his own room.

The difference? This time, he walked alone.

He arrived at the small, hidden meadow on the other side of the forest and removed his shoes. He felt the soft grass between his toes, almost like a carpet. He walked to the small river at the side of the meadow and sighed affectionately at. It had always been more like a tiny creek than a river, but just as he was a small person and hated being teased for his size, he had decided the creek needed a bigger name, too. So to him, it had always been the river, nothing more, nothing less.

He looked at the giant oak tree that had been torn down in the last big rainstorm and his heart clenched. He had climbed that tree to the very top more times than he could count. It had always been there to offer a comfortable wooden seat of branches and a soft blanket of leaves. That tree had given him a place to think, to cry, to laugh...it broke his heart to see its many branches scattered throughout the meadow. It was such a sad sight, he could almost see tearful eyes on the branches looking at him, pleading to him to help them up.

Memories flooded through his mind. He felt the sky darken and raindrops began to fall. Thinking of all the times he had taken her here brought a wetness to his eyes that wasn't the rain. As his tears mixed with the droplets of water falling from the sky, he thought back to a happier time in a happier place and whispered to the air.

"Becca, I miss you."

Made him fall, a little harder every time. It was a gentle look, but it was fake. She didn't really love him.

No matter how many times he complimented her, on what she was wearing, the way she looked, her happy-go-lucky attitude,

She always turned him down. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a flat out rejection, but, she said it in a nice way. Yet, it was still a rejection.

"But I'm a creep.."

Maybe it was because he was poor, maybe it was because he didn't look like all the others. He was...

"I'm a weirdo."

Unique.
But no one else seemed to notice.

That's why he was ready... Ready to jump.
