the murderer blinked open their eyes to darkness. ‘Perfect’ they thought and got to their feet. They trotted around camp before choosing their victim. The walked over to the warriors den and pranced in. They approached graypool with a ominous glint in their eye. “Graypool” they said and poked the gray she-cat. Graypool woke up “what do you want [redacted]” the murderer sighed “come outside” graypool nodded and followed the murderer out of the den. “Want to go for a walk” the murderer said. Graypool stared at them for a second before mewing “sure” so as soon as they where out of the camp the murderer started flexing their claws. They killed graypool, then ran back to camp and pretended to be asleep

Blizzardstrike blinks his eyes open, rising to his feet with a yawn as he stretches out his limbs, looking around the den. ”Wake up everyone, time for patrols” the deputy speaks, shaking awake a couple of the cats. ”Nightfeather, take the apprentices hunting. I’ll lead a border patrol with Ferretwing and Graypool.” he pauses, frowning slightly as his gaze scans the den. “Where is Graypool? Did anyone see them leave?” he asks, not really thinking anything of it. He figured they were probably just off to the dirt-place or to get a drink.
