current news - our previous leader Poppystar has lost his last life due to illness from the cold temperature, he was a wise and noble leader. He will be replaced by Fiercegaze (or better known as Fiercestar now) who will appoint _____ as her deputy.

about the clan
Birdclan is a fairly new clan forming only a few moons ago by a group of rogues, they believed that their leader begin to receive messages and visions from their ancestors, telling them were they must go to form their clan. the cats of Birdclan believe in Starclan and the only way to reach them is through your spirit bird that's why it is forbidden to hunt them; the only time they are hunted is when an apprentice is ready to become a warrior. At the age of twelve a young cat is sent out into the forest where they will spend the night hunting down a certain bird they wish to be their guide; however if they fail they must continue training as an apprentice until they reach twenty where they are sent back out on their own to try again. if you fail to claim your bird after the second attempt then the clan has a vote, if majority of the answers are no then you are exiled, if it's yes then you are allowed to stay in the clan were you will be given one final chance to claim your bird; if you fail your third time then you are automatically exiled. when a medicine cat feels like his/her apprentice is ready for their assessment they will too be sent out to claim their guide, if the medicine cat declares their apprentice is not worthy yet then the apprentice will continue his/her duties until the medicine cat or starclan (in the form of a dream) says otherwise.

for example; when Poppystar was 12 he was sent into the forest, there, he was able to bring down a small Dove, the spirit of this Dove, upon its death, is linked with the spirit of Poppystar, no one else but Poppystar can see the Dove's spirit.

apprentice example; when ____paw reaches 12 moons they will be sent out into the forest to kill a single bird, if they are successful then they have claimed their spirit guide and are able to become a warrior but if they fail then they have to continue training as an apprentice until they turns 20 then they will be sent back out to try and claim their spirit bird once again.

personality whitestep is a kind and warm hearted she-cat who is accepting of everyone, she enjoys seeing others laugh and would do anything to make them smile. she is very loyal to her and would defend it with her life, she is patient and understanding but can be rude and cranky in the morning.
history whitestep was born and raised in birdclan along with her brother and sisters, her parents were well respected warriors amongst their clan mates; often earning praise from the leader. a couple moons after her warrior ceremony her father fell deathy ill, the medicine cat tried their hardest but the once strong warrior succumbed to the illness; leaving his mate and kits. after that day Whitestep's mother retired to the elders den, refusing to leave no matter how many begged; Whitestep and her siblings have been tending to her ever since.

appearance (image or written) thrushnose is a fluffy white tom cat with silver/grey tabby patches on his back and head. he has a plumy dusty grey tail with a black stripe running along the bottom of it, he has wide yellow/green eyes.
personality thrushnose was once a happy and outgoing tom, always making others laugh and smile; that was until the day his mother and many others were slaughtered by a former clan member. since then he has been a quiet and reserved tom, only keeping to himself; however if the tom feels comfortable enough around you he will start to open up and show his outgoing side more, he has a soft spot for kits and will occasionallyplay with them but he feel more relaxed and happy when he'swith the elders, listening to their stories.
history thrushnose was born into the clan and raised by a young queen, when he was a couple moons old said queen adopted another kit into the litter, granting thrushnose a younger sister. about 3 moons after his apprentice ceremony tragedy struck the clan as a couple former warriors went on a rampage, the cause of it is unknown but many died; including his mother. he mourned his mother for many moons, often missing out on training but he barely managed to pass his assessment and captured a small dove as his prize.

. Fiercestar used to be a part of a street gang of rogues (she was born into it). However, the gang quickly fell apart when they ran out of food because one cat had kits and the others (who all wanted to slack off) made excuses to lay around and do nothing. She had one friend, Jack, who was like a father to her, but he was an old old old cat that was not part of the gang (they left him to die when he couldn’t hunt). Fiercestar was the only one who went out hunting. When she got back, the gang had been attacked by humans who were taking the trash out of the dumpster. Usually, there would be only one cat , who would make an easy escape. However, the whole gang were just dozing off, so the humans captured 3, killed 1 and scared off 2 others. Fiercestar then witnessed Jack trying to save his former gangmates, but was run over by a car. A mountain lion found her and attacked, clawing a long, snake-like scar down her neck. A birdclan patrol found her, bloodied up, while on patrol. She quickly rised up the ranks and became leader.

Fiercestar thinks having a mate and kits will distract her from her duty. She doesn't think other cats having kits is bad, she just doesn't want any herself. (But we'll see about that!) Fiercestar blames emotions on all she has been through, and has developed a ‘duty before all’ mindset.

| Appearance and Impressions |
Fiercestar is a silvery-white she-cat, with black leopard spots (white bengal cat). She has piercing yellow eyes and a slender physique. In a battle, the right side of her face was ripped off. (Like brightheart) She is very fierce and cunning, and no one knows what she might do. She is very ambitious and will stop at nothing to get what she wants. When playing with the other kits (when she was a kit) they called her "The Plotter". She has used her cunning and intellect to aid the clan many times. She usually seems cold, but is just trying to push emotions away. She is a very skilled fighter and helps make strategies. Her appearance makes most toms attracted slightly, but she doesn't care for them as she has vowed to never stray from duty. Do not let her slender physique fool you, however, as she can make up for it by calculating and observing every opponents weak spots.

Describing her as the most noble... well, that would be far from the truth. Though her intentions are usually well-meant, she stops at nothing to get what she wants (usually for the clan... but who knows?). Fiercestar isn’t afraid to kill, taking it as the most efficient form of defense. Despite some harsh measures, she is still well-respected by her clan as a clever and strong warrior and deputy. But how will they accept her as leader?

Miraculously, Fiercestar (then Fiercepaw) was able to track down and kill a Gyrfalcon when she was 12 moons. When she brought it back, the leader, Poppystar, noted how piercing the eyes of the bird was, even in death. They matched Fiercepaw's, save for the color difference. Thus, Fiercepaw was given the name Fiercegaze and her spirit guide is a white Gyrfalcon named Tarquin.
