territory whisper falls is a collection of waterfalls in western canadian rockies. the forests surrounding the falls are a spruce and pine mix. predators include badgers, foxes, dogs, and other creatures who make their homes in canadian forests. prey includes shrews (x1), songbirds (x1), rabbits (x2), squirrels (x2), ermine (x2), and hares (x3).

beliefs the rogues believe in a collection of deities that rule over different aspects of life. the most important deity to them is silvanus - also known as the forest father - the god of nature and the wild. other deities include chauntea (goddess of life and bountiful meals), mielikki (goddess of forests), ilmater (god of endurance), selune (goddess of the moon), and more. the medicine cat, called the cleric, must have a close connection to the gods. their point of connection to their gods is a small pool of water hidden down cave tunnels known as the pool of secrets. they do not follow the warrior code, or any code of sorts. the gods are used as givers of advice instead of something that controls daily life.

common pelts pelts come in many different colours and lengths. the rogues of whisper falls have a good mix of genes due to them being pretty friendly when it comes to welcoming in new members.

history the group of rogues that live near whisper falls were formed under... unique circumstances. a lone rogue stumbled upon the pool of secrets, which had been hidden for years by a rock collapse. this rogue was the first to speak to the forest father in years, and so he granted them nine lives and sent the rogue off with the mission to form a loyal group of cats to rule over whisper falls (to protect the pool of secrets).

reputation the rogues of whisper falls have a generally good reputation, considering they tend to avoid clashing with other clans and are quite welcoming to new members.

light swirled. voices echoed. she felt stuck in her own body, chained in place as ethereal cats that could only be gods circled around her. the glimmering scenery around her seemed to be oblivious to her struggling. pain coursed through her in nine waves. she felt on fire as the gods chanted her name.
"illusion. illusion. illusion."
she was selected. she was chosen. the scene around her glimmered and swirled until her vision faded to black.
she woke up.

illusion watched as butler dropped to a crouch, pelt brushing against the forest floor and tail wavering. she heard his heartbeat quicken softly in excitement. the small songbird he had spotted was a few fox paces away, and illusion furred he eyebrows as she focused on butler’s prey.
he pounced too soon. the bird scattered. illusion let out a sigh.
“sorry.” butler let out quickly, straightening up in embarrassment. his eyes flew up to meet illusion’s then quickly averted away.
“it’s fine,” illusion replied “it’s fine, you’re new to this anyways.” she regretted her initial sigh, and assured butler. “your form is good, you just need to keep your tail still and make sure you get closer before pouncing. you were very close to catching that prey.”
“really?”
“yeah. your skills are developing nicely.”
illusion could here butler purr softly and he gaze turned from her to the surrounding forest, looking for more possible prey.
he’s not bad for a former kittypet. he’s motivated for sure. he is honestly a great first addition to my... clan? what will we even call ourselves? maybe just rogues. yeah, the rogues of whisper falls. sounds nice.
she pulled herself from her thoughts and watched as her first warrior gently padded through the woods, smelling for his next target.
